A place to remember and definitely to go back to. Easy walk with so much beauty 😍

Beautiful walking track down to one of the most beautiful beaches I've been to. Filled with native trees and rock formations, the rock pools have a large variety of wildlife and plants.

I recommend taking the walk through the scrub on the way down and enjoying the beach walk on the way back... Very easy to spend all day enjoying the scenery

Dirawong is the Aboriginal name for goanna and this headland, commonly known as Snapper Rock is outside Dirawong Reserve which ends at the old tick fence at the southern end of Chinamans Beach. If anything, Goanna Headland is north taking in features such as Half Tide, Jogglies, Red Hill where the goanna looks and waits for the Rainbow Serpent to return from the sea after their battle. Snapper is actually the tail of the goanna as you can see in the attached photo.

What a beautiful secluded secret this is.
Huge variety of native flowering plantlife along the pathways to the ocean, Goanna Headland and beyond. This is a massive area saved for all to enjoy.
Or walk along the beach while enjoying the awesome views or nearby take the road to Chinamans Beach. Then enjoy the walk to snapper Rock.

This place is magnificent and definitely a place everyone should visit so much to see and do go for a nice long walk along the beach or find a shady place to sit down and just relax ive been visiting this place for over 15 years and i love it every time i come back weather im heading out fishing on the beach or the rocks to sitting on the beach and having a family day

So pretty except their where alot of blue bottles sitting on the sand. We had to be careful where we put our feet

There’s something very awe-inspiring about it, just one of those places that makes you appreciate how truly beautiful this part of the world is.

One of the most beautiful, coastal spots I've ever seen, rugged and wild. The wave-lapped cliffs of the headland are epic and the kilometers of untamed coastal scrub are fantastic too.

A beautiful headland that is accessible by foot from Chinamans Beach. Sometimes the path is cut-off at high-tide where the water covers the rocks. The path is clear if you follow the beach around. The area is also a mythological place of origin of the Bundjalung Nation, and many archeological sites have been discovered here.

Recommended for the weekend getaway hike, you could hike for house along the cliffs and beach's.
