Wonderful, food, service and the beers were well presented and cold.
The Girls that looked after us were attentive and caring.
Even changing our table for 12 to outside as one of our friends had a dog.
Thank you very much for a wonderful day.

Have only gone for the food but have been many times, it's always pretty good, great vegetarian food, have had at least 4 of the options, this is the haloumi salad, pretty small Halloumi pieces but it was delicious.

Awesomely delicious food for a very reasonable price! Great place to bring the family or come for a knock off with your mates!

Come here every week with the family. Great, affordable meals, polite staff and just an all round great establishment. The Royal Family Hotel is exactly what great australian locals pubs are about.

Had a lovely evening meal here with the family. The hotel has a really spacious beer garden for outside dining. The staff are great and the menu is quite extensive, tasty and a decent price. Will definitely return

Nicole severed our group of 20 all afternoon. She made us feel at home with her friendly help carrying drinks out to beer garden and knowledge of the area. Snitchels were tasty & good size. Definitely come back. Cheers Neil

Lunch on a cold Thursday and the dining room was warm with an open fire. Very friendly staff member took our orders. I had the Braised duck legs with winter roast vegetables and broccolini and crispy roast potatoes with a hoisin and 5 spice sauce. The duck was so tender and juicy and melt in the mouth. The winter vegetables included roast beetroot, carrots, pumpkin and parsnip. This meal was delicious and perfectly cooked and seasoned.

We had the Tuesday steak lunch special for $18. It is also available for dinner. Very good value. Steaks were tender and cooked just right in good time. The buffet bar had a varied selection of salad and hot vegetables. Our server was prompt and courteous and refilled our water without being prompted. Dining area was pleasantly decorated (some peeling paint) high ceilings and solid wood table tops. There is also a slide and sandpit with a grassed area for the kids to run around outside. Extra parking at the rear of the premises.

I was reading some of the reviews about the Royal Family Hotel and me too have just finished a meal here.

Keeping in mind it's currently peak period where it looks like they are clearing 450 meals a day and was nice enough to call ahead to make a booking. My meal was not late considering the time of year, or under cooked. I waited longer at the bakery across the road for a pie, but at the hotel I was at least seated, having a drink and relaxing.

The beer garden is wonderful this time of year and definitely recommend a visit to take in this classic, family hotel.

Fantastic food and staff. We ordered the Cheesey Garlic Bread, Kids meal, Chicken Schnitzel with the creamy prawn topping, and Salt and Pepper squid!

The garlic bread felt like the cheese and the garlic was dancing on my tongue. Delicious!

Salt and Pepper squid was great, only downside was it tasted a little bit over floured.

Chicken Schnitty tasted fresh, the topping was amazing.

I did order the husband serve of Salt and Pepper Squid, the waitress was unsure what i meant! (You know, when the wife promises not to eat any but always does so you want a bit extra!)

Was a great meal, nice fire. Started to get busier around 1815 mark.

Great country pub. Staff were friendly the food was awesome. Had roast pork and it was huge! Great value for money. The rooms were nice.. simple just a bed and a cupboard. Great if you need just need a place to sleep for the night.

Lovely old world charm. The food was good pub grub with the bonus of a very generous selection of salads and hot side dishes to chose from. There is plenty of seating space so you can choose from a pleasant outdoor area or a classic indoor dining area, and hats of to the staff for being so pleasant and welcoming. A very family friendly pub.

Had a great lunch on a beautiful April day. Sat outside under a huge Norfolk island pine. Good pub menu choices. Salad and vegetable bar had lots to choose from. Roast of the day was tasty as we the Buffalo wings. Recommended.

Eating Satay tenders on a hot summers day had not made it onto my todo list, however that's what I found myself having for lunch at this beautiful pub. With classic wood styling, indoor and outdoor seating, outdoor play area, small gaming area, and salad bar included with main menu items, the Royal Family Hotel was a wonderful choice for a sit down lunch.

The range of menu items cater to a wide audience, from classic burgers, grills and schnitzels, to curries, fish and vegan options. Not to mention a good sized desert menu.

If you feel like you could spare some time and et a bit more, skip the lines at the bakeries and cafes and try a meal here. Fast service, well cooked, excellent flavour!
