Nice spot only the bank was a bit steep

Quiet when we visited apart from a couple dirt bikes around but not to much of an issue. Still plenty of exploring to be done so will return. Drop toilets but never used so can't comment on condition. Camp sites flat but can see would become muddy with a bit of rain. Concrete fire pits.

What terrible dirt road. Forget it unless 4wd. No road direction signs. Typical Murray R view had many other places.

Star rating will depend on what you plan to do here, I gave it 2 stars as it's far too difficult to walk down the bank to the water. If you are shore fishing this place is useless, I drove all along this stretch to Torumbarry weir and there are like 3 spots where you can get to the water without breaking your neck. The forrest here is a bit more open woodland, not many red gums I think they were grey box trees. There are quite a few little tracks that criss cross, so if you were bike riding it would be nice for that. There are lots of small clearings along the river track where you can pick a spot to camp by yourself or go to the bigger designated camp area at Masters Landing. Unfortunately the house is falling apart and it's pretty much just an eyesore now. Broken creek bend has a nice spot at the very end, where you can get down to the water, and it also had sand, but a group was already there when I arrived. I'd say that would be the premium spot for 100km of the river. You will hear gun shots from people duck shooting, so if you have nervous kids/adults be aware of that. There is a boat ramp near the camp ground, the river here is a little wider and not so much of a problem for snags in the water like Barmah is where it's very narrow and trees from either side can stretch to the middle of the river. So it's much better for boating, you can still approach the banks where the snags are to cast lures, but the middle of the river is nice and clear.
