Travelers Rest Leitchville

Only has three bays but you could fit 2 in one. Has butcher ,bakery, Pub and IGA. Short walk to toilet and one shower . Right next to pool great on hot day.

It is a travellers rest stop perfect for one or two nights with drive through parking bays with over head lighting . Great shower and clean toilets. Bakery and IGA very friendly and just a short walk. Perfect for what it is but we wouldn't class it as a camping spot and more of a rest stop.

What a fantastic idea by the town. A completely free camping / caravan ground in town. Clean toilets, covered BBQ area and across the road from IGA, the town bakery and a 2 minute walk to the town's pub, where you can get fantastic meals and meet some true characters!

If you're in northern Vic, make sure you stop here.

Great freindly people, spend money at bakery, IGA ,Bendigo bank also across the road, plenty of areas to explore and fish and photograph,well worth a donation.

Great place for overnight stop. No power. No connecting to water, but taps nearby. Toilets and shower for use a swimming pool next door. Everything exceptionally clean. Walking distance to pub meals are terrific. Just a great place to stop.

What a great little spot to pull over….. and not far to the pub, will wonder over soon….

Lovely quiet stop over. Very little road noise. Toilets available. Drinking water also available to fill caravan tanks. Excellent option if required.

Didn,t stay as just really a service road but looked very clean with good amenities. Would be good for an overnight stay .

Great little camping/rest area right in town. There are only a couple of shops including a Bakery, an IGA Supermarket, a Hotel that offers meals, a Post Office, a Clothing Shop and an RTC Centre. The RV Friendly Camping Area offers clean toilets (open 24 hours), a Hot Shower in the Disabled Toilet, Rubbish Bins, Fresh Drinking Water, Picnic Tables on a grassy area and sites divided by trees/shrubs for a bit of privacy. It's very quiet here at night except for the odd cow voicing it's opinion. We totally enjoyed our stay here and I'm sure you will too. A couple of locals even came up to Welcome us to their town and offer some information/brochures. All in all, a great little place.
