Prosper Paediatrics at Burnside

I am first time mum and delivered my baby at Burnside hospital with Dr Conway. The care and support I have received for my son was nothing amazing and positive experience, including follow up appointments. Prosper staff were all helpful and professional in all my interactions and my son has been well cared for.

My son sees Dr Yanni who is incredibly sweet and caring (as well as a great dr!). As a first time parent, I appreciated the compassionate care my son and I were provided.

I’m happy with service and doctors. Very friendly front desk people and I have seen already 2 doctors and both were professional and very friendly with my baby. They also do it quick so my baby doesn’t even notice it and she is afraid of doctors. I like that both options for consultation are available face to face and face-time video call , is great if you have concerns or questions but something stops you from attend in person . The practice is very clean and you don’t wait for ages because its all appointments only.

Dr Yanni and Dr Conway have been wonderful to my children. They've helped out a lot with their dietary requirements/issues and also helped us with our children asd diagnosis. It is very busy getting a booking but I feel overall that's the case with in demand doctors. But overall I couldn't thank these two paediatricians enough.

Dr Conway has looked after my daughter for almost 5 years and he is an amazing doctor who cares and really listens to the concerns of the parents. I would recommend him to anyone.

We've been seeing Dr Kent since our preemie baby's birth 18months ago. She is knowledgeable, super nice and always thorough. We've never felt rushed or dismissed with any concern. She always listens carefully and if needed, readily refers to other specialists. Yes, sadly the wait is long because they are booked out a lot but I'm really hoping to have her as our 2nd baby's paediatrician too. Highly recommended.

Dr Yanni has been incredibly helpful to my family! I recommend her to friends that are looking for a paediatrician, she is amazing!

We saw Dr Kerrie-Anne Chen (Paediatric Neurologist).

I am over the moon with ever aspect of the consultation. She is very approachable, thorough and had very sound reasoning. I left the appointment feeling heard , understood and supported.

The reception staff were lovely also.

Dr Conway has helped tremendously in navigating our son’s special needs

The dr was 25 minutes late, didn’t apologise, and got annoyed when I questioned her explanation of my symptoms. Not helpful. Definitely not worth what was charged

Inattentive disrespectful, the doctor was busy answering phone calls and replying text messages during consultation, my questions was answered half way then the doctor started checking his phone message.

I was too busy to complain publicly at the time, then my friend was looking for a paediatrician, and encouraged me to give feedback to improve their professionalism, I took time writing to the practice manager whom is the wife I think. No reply at all!

Staff were rude and made it very hard to book a follow up appointment.
The newer staff member was lovely and tried her best with what she had been taught.
The decision maker took over and told me that it might take 4 months to get a 4pm online appointment and when I said that would be ok, I was met with an immediate, ‘no the doctors probably leave by then’, which is also fine. I would have happily chosen another time, but yeah like I said it was very difficult to rebook.

Poor experience, our Dr was rough, rude and wasn't afraid to send invoice to us for everytime he walked by. The truth was we didn't even know what his job was. Apart from swinging our new born child around by the legs I have no idea what he does. Would not recommend.

I personally had a very bad experience with this practice. Due to threat of litigation I have adjusted my review to simply state my dealings with this practice have left me feeling extremely distressed both financially and emotionally.

Paediatrician gave Improper medical treatment of a premature baby within burnside hospital that had to be corrected at the women’s and children’s hospital.

My experience was not pleasant at all here. How my son and I were treated was extremely poor I definitely would not recommend here for your child at all.
