Burnett Heads Takeaway River Culture Cafe & Grill + Fish & Chips [Next to IGA]

We stopped in while on holidays to grab some lunch and was blown away by the meals! The burgers were massive and such good value, so filling and so delicious! Such a wide variety of Gluten Free Options as well and the GF burger bun was also delicious which can be so hit and miss with GF products! Overall so impressed with this cafe. Great location as well as we were able to just pop around the corner to some picnic tables by the water.

Great food and excellent service. Got a burger and a toasted sandwich and a couple of drinks. All were very good.

Amazing burgers - kids loved them.

We purchased a piece of battered fish, a fish burger and some chips from here a couple of weeks ago. All of it was delicious and the best fish we have had in years - batter not oily and cooked perfectly. The crumbed fish on the burger was also awesome. We also got some bacon for our dog. Customer service was exceptional.

I am gluten intolerant. The lady running the takeaway was so helpful! She had several great gf options including crumb & batter for fish. Also a designated fryer for chips that were gf. I ordered the fish burger. The gf bun was fantastic! Large and didnt crumble and fall apart like most do. The burger was honestly the best i ever have eaten. Price was reasonable for a very good sized meal. I will be going back!!! Well done and thank you!

What a great place this is. So much on offer and for Gluten Free customers too. They cook fish n chips in separate cooker, gf hotdogs, and always have gf for Friday night dinner options. Such a treat. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Best fish burger I've had in ages and super friendly and helpful ladies running the place. They made a vegan veggie burger for my partner without treating us as inconvenient customers (which happens a lot at places that don't have any vegan dishes on the menu). The chips were also fresh, crispy and perfectly salted.
The only thing that would make the dine in experience better would be some music.

Burgers are yummy fresh salads, nice and clean inviting the ladies here are so kind full of smiles good customer service ..enjoyed my lunch.
