Lockyer's Track Campground

Close to the road but very quiet !
Spaces for only 3 vehicules but we were on our own .
Perfect for a stop overnight, not far from Blackheath and the main climbing spot

Beautiful campground but a bit sketchy to camp on a windy day due to unmaintained widow makers

Quiet, and hidden away from the southerlies.

Gut für eine Übernachtung, viel Wildlife, Kangaroos, Vögel und Startpunkt für einige Wanderungen. Nur beschränkte Infrastruktur, wenig Plätze.

Quiet campground, there’s a chance you’ll be the only one staying there. Grassy with a lot of trees providing shade. Other side of road is a paddock with a nice view. We camped here and trekked to Mount York and back, and also walked to Hartley Vale along the road and towards the inn to catch a beautiful sunset. Easy access via sealed road, much easier to come from the west than the east due to a narrow winding road from Darling Causeway

Lovely tucked away campground with a few sites and a drop loo. Good spot for seeing bird life native to the area.

Nice little spot, only 1 table, n a bit boggy at the entrance, but was a great spot for a bbq lunch, and would be excellent campsite

Seems nice and well laid out, except currently closed due to Covid-19. Would have thought it'd be open by now.

Not a bad spot. The toilet is basic, but there are several fireplaces, and a picnic table. Not a lot of flat ground, so a little challenging to set up camp

Quiet, we had the campground to ourselves. The toilet needs a good clean.

Limited level parking bush setting with one drop toilet. The kookaburras tell when to wakeup.
