We did a pit stop post lunch at this place enroute from Perth to Margaret River and it was amazing!

I was pleasantly surprised at how big the playground is - it was a dream come true for the kids! We got some small bites for tea - The cupcakes and the peanut butter macadamia crumble slice was so yummy! We also bought a couple of household decors - so pretty!

Bonus - we saw a full rainbow 🌈 too! It was so pretty!!

Can’t wait to be back in our next family vacay to Perth to try their food!

A must stop if you’re on your way down south! Plenty of different play area options for the kids, good undercover seating while you dine and clean toilets. It was fascinating to walk around and see the place- didn’t realise how much there was to see and do here.

What a place to stop by, explored a lots of options for organising get-together, birthday party or just let kids to enjoy.

Excellent experience for the first time, finally made the stoppage at this location & just blown away by looking at the decorations & meeting with very welcoming & friendly staffs.

We bought a plant 🪴 from there & she just shared her experiences “how to take care of the plant effectively for having the best results”. Thank you for your time. Sincere apology for not remembering your name.

Playground area is extremely well designed so that kids of different age can enjoy the time.

Outdoor dining area is filled with arts, handicrafts, paintings, & flowers/plants.

Lots of parking, just take left, move a further ahead, take right turn to enter the parking areas.

Great place to relax after a long drive from Perth. Enjoyed their cakes and coffee. But due to the weather(summer), we had limited time at the playground as it was too hot for my child. Overall I would recommend this place if you are traveling before summer or after

Our new fav spot to stop when heading south.

I remember when this place was a great place for local produce, it has now been transformed into a beautiful place to eat, relax and if you have them, let the kids play.

Extensive menu. Very easy ordering process, plenty of outdoor seating under shade and fans.

Clean amenities and wheelchair friendly.

What a gem! Stopped in on our way down to Yallingup and we're delighted to find this awesome place! The playground is enormous and has something for every little thrill seeker, there are ample tables in both shade and sun, dog friendly, and a cute little gift shop! The steak and mushroom pie was fantastic, and the lemon and blueberry crumble slice was absolutely divine 😍 will definitely be coming back!

A lovely stop off, about 30 mins out of Bunbury. The pics of the playground you may see online don't show how huge it is. What I liked most is that most things to do are more "old school" like the playgrounds I grew up with in the 90s...wooden, balance beams, climbing nets, thong tube / drums, painted tyres, a play shop, a lookout to walk up to etc. There is something in the playground for kids from 18 months through to 12yo. Loved it. I ate a beesting slice from the Cafe and it was AMAZING. So many gluten free sweets of you need those. Toilets were plentiful and clean. I saw 2 disabled and baby change toilets with proper change mats (padded). You can order food via an app, which Ibsaw signs for on our table. I would probably do that next time because the line up was a bit long and chaotic at 1130 on a Friday. Chaotic only in that people weren't standing in the right spot to line up but the staff were very efficient. Plenty of high chairs. Also plenty of space either on the roadside parking or in the carpark if you are towing a caravan. Overall a great stop over and worth it just for the playground honestly.

Wow what a fantastic place!
I was really surprised at the range of food they offer and how generous the portions are too. The price is very reasonable for what you get.
The decorations really make this place though with old vehicles displayed in the garden including a small plane.
The garden seating is plentiful with about 30 benches and tables. The only issue was the biblical number of flies everywhere. This is a problem all over WA right now though and not a reflection on the cafe.
Overall 5/5 carrots from me. An absolute gem of a find and a must stop if you're passing by!

Every time we drive by from Perth, we make a point to stop in for the kids because we adore this establishment. It's an incredible playground. The meals and beverages that we have consumed have been good.

Enjoyed breakfast here and a nice cappuccino. The pancakes were too much for me however I just ate the outer edges anyway as they weren't quite cooked enough in the centre.
Still enjoyable though!

We love visiting The Crooked Carrot as a family outing. The playground is incredible 👏🏼
It's great to be able to set the kids free to explore while you sit back and enjoy a coffee and some lunch.
It's honestly one of the most relaxing places to go as a parent.
The food is great also! 👍🏼

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Crooked Carrot located on Forrest Highway, and I must say it was a lovely experience. It's no surprise that the locals recommended this place for lunch.

One dish that stood out for me was their grilled Fish & Chips. The fish was fresh and delicious, and the chips were cooked to perfection with a crispy exterior and soft interior. It was a delightful combination.

I also had the opportunity to try their Pumpkin Soup, and it was a creamy and tasty delight. The flavors were well-balanced, making it a satisfying choice.

The prices at The Crooked Carrot are reasonable, and the service is friendly and welcoming. It adds to the overall positive dining experience.

What makes this place even more special is its huge and beautiful backyard, complete with a playground and rusty antique cars. It's a great place to relax and enjoy your meal in a charming setting.

One thing to note is that the lunch crowd can be quite substantial, so it's advisable to make a reservation beforehand to ensure a smooth dining experience.

Overall, I highly recommend The Crooked Carrot for its great food, beautiful backyard, reasonable prices, and friendly service. It's a wonderful place to visit for a delightful lunch.

Best best place n stop over from Perth to Margaret river. If I stay there; I would love to go there everyday because the kids can play at their best playground while the adults chill with food . Fish n chip is good too!
