I have been a patient of the practice for a little over 2 years. And in my experience over this extended period some of the reviews range from inaccurate to downright daft.

My calls have nearly always been answered within 5 minutes, which I find completely reasonable. Where a message has been left I’ve always been contacted 1-2 business days later. It’s laughable that some reviews feel that this is unacceptable and perhaps could consider being a little kinder when the world is short staffed. I have always found the admin staff to be incredibly helpful and friendly, they know who I am and are always happy to have a chat. They always greet me by name (and this is something I have seen on multiple other occasions for different patients). I have witnessed on more than one occasion abrasive and rude behaviours from patients in the waiting room as oppose to the reverse.

As for my treatment I cannot fault either the doctors or nursing staff. Again, I have always been treated with kindness and an interest in my life outside being a pain patient. I’ve had multiple procedures and have developed new pain diagnoses since attending the clinic and I have been accommodated in a way that goes above and beyond if I have required a last minute appointment. Unlike some other specialists in the field the goal here was not to get me dependent on heavy narcotics that become less and less helpful over time in chronic pain states. It was refreshing to be advised of treatments outside pharmaceutical measures. Any treatment has been communicated clearly to my GP who manages the day to day management (I.e prescriptions).

Overall, my experience of this clinic has been a good one. I have been grateful to have them all in my corner throughout the past two years as I continue to work towards my rehab goals.

Recently saw Dr Martyna Berwertz, she is new to the practice and thus does not have insane waiting times so I thought I’d take my chances rather than wait. I can say I was pleasantly surprised! Highly recommend.

She was very well versed in my many complex medical conditions (EDS and co). Fantastic bedside manner, had a conversation with you rather than at you. After searching for a pain specialist in SA for a few years now I can say I’ve finally found a keeper.

Despite what other reviews may say, I found all of the reception team to be fantastic. They were very accommodating with my wheelchair and assisted with opening doors that were a bit difficult for me to open. They have a lift from the car park to the rooms so no issue with accessibility. The car park ground is a bit uneven so if you’re a bit unsteady on your feet it might be best to be dropped off at the front.

I have been coming to see Dr Green for 2 years and have had a few procedures in that time. I have recently had Peripheral Nerve Stimulation which has reduced my pain significantly. I feel very fortunate to have Dr Green as my pain specialist as my pain is quite manageable now. Staff are very friendly and helpful and I would recommend Dr Green without hesitation.

By far the best. My wife and I have been visiting the clinic for well over a year. Dr. Matthew Green is a great specialist, very compassionate and very thorough. So is Dr. Mark Cox, very polite and very thoughtful. Ms Rebekah and Mr. Peter are great nurses, very polite and compassionate. And their front line staff is also very friendly, Ms Pippa and Ms Lisa are doing an absolutely amazing job.

Dr Matthew Green, Rebekah Richards, Pippa and Boston staff are exceptional. I’m still on my journey to getting my pain under control but not once have they given up on me. Highly recommend.

I saw Dr Green Mathew and Dr Jonathan Newchurch today regarding demyelinating peripheral neuropathy.
I liked the way they treated me without prejudice and discrimination. I saw Dr Green Mathew previously in 2016 regarding pain management related to a car accident in 2015 which involved serious whiplash. I would say his good attitude towards my wife and I hasn't changed. He explained very clearly and profoundly to my wife and carer about the options available and to make my life much better in terms of mobility and ain management. He also prescribed me with new medications.with less side effects because I stayed all time in bed because of excruciating pain.The staff at front desk are adorable!!!
What can I say more?? I knocked at the right door, met with the right person at the right time. I recommend him and his colleagues to anybody. Cheers

Brilliant!!! My husband was a pain to live with until Matthew sorted his pain out. He was compassionate and listened to what the problem was. Very nice bloke and cannot fault his manner. Certainly made hubbys life bearable and back pain all under control. Would recommend him to anyone who struggles with chronic pain. And I am not being paid to say this either .... just very grateful for what he has done.

Dr Katie Rogers was extremely thorough and understanding, empathetic to my complex, current (and past) pain history. Explained treatment views/options thoroughly. The fact that she wished to talk to her colleague about my case, expresses to me that she wanted to be sure she was taking the best route for me 'down the line'. Having being treated publicly for my pain for years and not getting anywhere, I kind of feel a little hopeful for some kind of positive outcome. Front line staff were extremely welcoming and polite on arrival and discharge. I would also like to point out, that at no time did I feel rushed, or that I was just another 'number'. Can recommend this practice wholeheartedly, and I've only had one visit. Thank you!

The team at Pain Med SA were fantastic.
They were able to clarify and explain my pain source and structure a plan for me to achieve good rehabilitation.
After getting xrays, visiting doctors, physios, & various specialists, they were able to make sense of it all to me.

I have been attending regular appointments at pain med SA at Marion clinic - Port Road clinic and now the Greenhill Road clinic for a the number of years following a MVA i was badly injured in 2011.
I have always been treated with the respect dignity and above all they have always been absolutely honest ! No sugar coating as to what needs to be dealt with and how to do it!!
I see dr green and nurse bec who again are great professionals and people. Highly recommended cheers Mike king

I must say that for my initial visit with the folk at PainMedSA, I found the staff and physicians to be caring, courteous and sympathetic regarding my particular circumstances.The front of office staff were pleasant and helpful regards completion of their required paperwork and the physicians were very thorough with their interview in relation to getting to the route cause of my condition, and were happy to work through all my treatment options. Thanks guys for a pleasant experience.

Referred by my GP. Dr Katie Rogers was thorough and impressed me with her dynamic approach. Went through everything including options for treatment and potential future actions.

DR Vo has just been amazing. After being injured for 2 and a half years and multiple surgeries, Dr Vo has been such a fantastic help in dealing with my pain. Very knowledgable and easy to talk to.

I have seen Dr Green and Boston technicians for over 5 yrs,they give those patient's that need extra time when needed so try to understand if they are running late because they will do the same for you when needed.I was sure they would give up on me like other Drs have when it's all too hard,they have never lost interest in helping me reduce 20 yrs of chronic pain.Dr Green is so patient and care's deeply about his clients,he has saved my mind and body and never stops trying to help.Regards Rodney Brown.

The doctors and staff at PainMed SA are exceptional. They are very caring and spend the extra time with you when it's required.
