Lake Atkinson Resort & Waterfront Camping

Me and my partner just had the most relaxing 3 days stay last weekend.
Doug and Amanda was awesome like always and we always felt welcome.
Toilets and showers were clean and plenty of hot water .
The animals were great to see floating around and my partner loved feeding them as you can see from pictures.
Even got a pizza delivered to campsite and was great.
Thanks again for a great time Doug and Amanda.

My Husband and I stayed here, just recently for 4 days and absolutely loved the experience. The whole place has a very relaxed and farm feel to it, paired with the Dam, it is absolutely beautiful! The showers were exceptional with hot water and the best water pressure I have ever experienced! The service is fantastic and the mini bus to feed the animals was one of the best experiences! I cannot wait to see how this space transforms in the next few year! Looking forward to returning very soon!

We had our very first camping trip here, Amanda and Doug were super welcoming and accommodating. Lovely camping spot with beautiful views. Loved seeing the animals roaming around. Really recommend this place. Lovely people and lovely spot to camp

The staff here are really amazing, they really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. There's plenty to do for my kids. My kids love feeding the animals with Dougy. He always welcomes my family with a smile and a laugh .
Very affordable prices. Relaxing in the conoes are our favourite. We will always come back to Lake Atkinson Resort & camping.

Dougie and Amanda, the two stars who run this place are just amazing. They both were so accommodating to our general stay needs but go above and beyond.
They make sure we are as comfortable as possible and go out of their way to make our stay at the best destination you can get.
The facilities are more than ample, people complain about cleanliness but we are outside and camping. Also, other campers can be inconsiderate. During our stays (we are here again!) we've never encountered an unclean bathroom, shower etc if it was, a simple phone call to Dougie, and this team would ensure it's at a high standard at all times. They fix any issues straight away with no delay.
I took my young children (very family friendly including very young children & all ages) to this campsite and we hadn't been camping in quite a few years and Dougie & Amanda truly cared that my children really gained the camping/ outdoors experience and enjoy themselves.

Camping site are private huge space!
If you book the power charge site, there are with own tap water, but they can’t drink.

Just spend the night here. Staff were very friendly and super helpful. Their Woodfired Pizza delivered straight to our campsite was sensational. Loved the fact that we could camp looking directly at the Lake. And to take the free to use canoes out for a paddle. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.

Hi I stayed here on the long weekend and my kids and myself thought this park is amazing beautiful location has all the facilities you ever want and need the kids had so much fun feeding the animals and swimming in the pools the owners and staff are amazing they go out of there way to help you in anyway we will be back 100 percent loved the place

Beautiful location. Waterfront views with the bushland surrounding you. We keep coming back because of the friendly, helpful staff who go above and beyond to meet your needs. The family loves the dam and the pool. Campgrounds are spacious and we bring our two dogs who also love it and have a great time.

I could not be happier with prices, staff, and environment.
I stayed over Christmas and loved every moment. The staff were friendly at entrance and when I needed help, but left us alone every other time. The views of the lake are beautiful and I got to feed sheep, goats, chickens, ducks and a horse! And they are expanding!!! I can't wait to go again when that's finished. Definitely recommend going.

Close to home. Great price for a powered site. The sites for tents was big enough for the tent and a car with room to spare. The park also offered for us to borrow canoes and you can even go pat the animals that live there. The staff were friendly, super helpful and great to chat to. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks for a great stay.

Awesome spot for camping. Right on Atkinson Dam. Just go in swim or put your boat in. There’s also a pool to swim in. The showers for campers are the best I’ve seen in a long time. So big. The little on-site store makes awesome wood fire pizzas. They were amazing. There’s still some Reno’s going on but is looking amazing at what they have in store for the park. The owners and managers are more than accommodating and so easy to talk to.

A fantastic camping experience. Camp sites are situated on the waterfront and the facilities are awesome.
The shop offers fantastic food and great service.
With all the new renovations happening you won't be disappointed.

James and the team, you all went above and beyond to cater for us and the kids, the amenities were clean, the ground are on the track to paradise! If you have an open mind for potential this is the magic spot! Farm animal and feeding on the kids bus that picks u up from your camp site, pedal boats, kayaks, water front camp spots, friendly staff, BEST potato gems and gravy! Residents were all super friendly! Definatly my new favourite camping spot!

When I first moved here I had nowhere to go. James was more than helpful, always willing to help in anyway he can. Amanda who is in charge of the accommodation is always there when you need her and is super friendly, and the cleaners are doing amazing work around the park. Yea, fair enough you have to supply your own toilet paper, but if people weren't so immature and disrespectful and didn't do the wrong thing then it would be able to be kept in the toilet block. As far as other comments about the pricing, with the housing market the way it is the price is reasonable, the park is right on the water, has a pool, shop, animal park (what more could you ask for) and james is willing to give anyone a go and help anyone he can. The grounds are clean, so for the comments that say it's filthy, again, learn to clean up after yourselves, the cleaners aren't your servants.
Well done James and the rest of admin, I'm glad I found this place. It's amazing.

This place was so nice, they showed us all the cool animals, and they even let me hold a duckling and chick. They helped us with our fire and delivered pizza to our tent. The next day we were able to go canoeing for free and it was really amazing. Everyone is really sweet and friendly 😊

Perfect place for a family get away with waterfront camping spots and lovley cafe staff and all round great workers. Felt very welcomed by staff and it was a fantastic weekend camping here at the lake for Easter 2023.
We will be back 😃
