Colin & Fi were the most amazing hosts for our recent small wedding. Right from the beginning they accommodated our wishes to ensure our day would be perfect. The food was sensational and the wines outstanding. They went out of their way for us even to the point that their gorgeous dog Gus wore a bow tie! We could not recommend Flaxman Wines enough for an amazing lunch or an intimate wedding like ours.

What an experience! Eight of us arrived yesterday for our private dining soirée. We were welcomed by Gus, Col and Fi and immediately we felt at home.

The food was amazing and the wine was paired beautifully.

Such wonderful hosts and so much fun (particularly you Gus 🐶)!

The food was mouth watering delicious. Too difficult to chose which of their wines was my favourite.. 2016 Riesling maybe, which was a surprise. I usually steer clear of riesling, but it was dry and delicious. I can't recommend a visit here high enough. Everything was perfect on a beautiful afternoon in picturesque surroundings. You will fall in love with Gus and his big smile as he anticipates a belly scratch... 💛💛 A must visit if you love great food and wine.

We had the most incredible work Christmas lunch here, Fiona & Colin went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible time. Their wine was sensational, the food prepared by Colin was like we were in a fancy restaurant but sitting in their private outside patio area surrounded by vines. We will most definitely be back!

Where do you start..from Gus's greeting when you arrive..he knows dog people..to the beautiful setting for lunch..inside or out..the choice is yours. Fi and Col asked before we arrived for any eating disorders and worked menu around that. The food was lovely. If your in a hurry forget it..its a long relaxing lunch ..
They can cater for small groups..up to 16..
The tastings offered showcase their boutique wines perfectly.
I know theres a large choice of wineries in the EdenValley area..but if your after a more intimate option..l strongly recommend flaxman. and make sure you book in advance..support small businesses..

Had a lovely long lunch on Saturday. Maximum table of 10 makes for an intimate experience. Hosted by resident chef and winemaker, Col and his wife Fi we had wonderful food, matched with very generous pours of new release wines. Unassuming from the road, but well worth a visit.

The standout of our trip to the Barossa/Eden Valley by far!! Fi and Col were wonderful hosts - feeding us a delicious meal and beautiful wines in a sensational setting.

My other favorite part of this was only having a small group. We all felt very special. Not rushed, just sat back and enjoyed.
One of our friends is not really a fan of degustation, he is now converted!!
As they say, 'do yourself a favour' and visit this hidden gem.

We have been lucky to experience a few long lunches hosted by Fi & Col, and every time is fabulous! Amazing wine & food which compliments the wine, to the service and how could we forget the Flaxman mascot 'Gus' - adorable! Highly recommend the long lunch or if is not an option , just pop out and have a glass or two of wine with a delicious cheese platter and take in the views.

10 of us had a private lunch yesterday at this lovely winery. The food was amazing, the wine superb and Colin and Fi were terrific friendly hosts. Thank you both so much, we must do it again when the weather is nicer and we can sit outside.

A visit to Flaxman’s winery is a must for anyone visiting the Barossa. The wines were amazing and the lunch cooked by Colin was incredible.
Fi, Colin and Gus are the total package. We were made to feel welcome straight away and in the end didn’t want leave.

Wow, the wine, the food, the view - all exceptional at Flaxman Wines and the hospitality provided by Col and Fiona is second to none. We had an absolutely sensational day and I can't wait to go back.

Our group of 9 booked a private 5 course lunch with matched wines and this was definitely a highlight of our time in the Barossa.

Fi and Col were so warm and welcoming we felt like we were at a friends house for lunch - even better when those friends live in a stunning part of the world, set a fabulous table, can cook up a feast fit for a top restaurant and make excellent wine!

The whole experience was exceptional and the icing on the cake was the worlds best winery dog, Gus.

Flaxman Wines is just outside of the regular Barossa Valley wine trails but you will not be disappointed, this little gem is well worth the trip!

Our party of four had a mid-week private long lunch and absolutely loved it! Such a unique dining experience. Seated in a lovely courtyard among the vineyards - we were the only table so it felt like we were being treated by Col to an amazing homecooked meal. Every dish was delicious and the wines were great too. We all agreed that we would definitely return to Flaxman Wines.
