very nice free camping ground. Kangaroos coming in the night and morning. Lots of fallen trees.

Excellent spot! Great walks with hills and rocks to climb but moss is slippery! Freezing cold in July. Only saw one wallaby but there must be plenty around according to the quantity of droppings. Sad that ppl go there to drink themselves stupid as I found bottles and cans high up the hill.

Was very lucky to need a spot to stay for the night near Ararat and happened to stop here - we were the only people in the camping area. It's a beautiful Gumtree forest with plenty of camping spots, campfire pits, and picnic tables. There are toilets as well but I didn't venture into them.

I really enjoyed camping here though I was concerned when someone drove through quite fast with the big kangaroo hunting spotlight on this is a Conservation Park not saying anyone was hunting but it just didn't feel right

Plenty of room for caravans, quiet and peaceful. Fire pits with hotplates. Reservoir is very interesting

Camped here for one night and we loved it. Plenty of space for people to choose a camp site, long drop toilets and picnic tables. Will be going back again
