Unfortunately, one star is the lowest rating available.
The first sale of our property fell through but this didn't stop Leonie Simmons keeping the deposit (which we were entitled to) as commission (that's right, she didn't sell it but she wants a commission anyway).
The thing is, she didn't spring that surprise on us until she had secured a second sale. Apparently, she claims she is entitled to two commissions for only one sale.
Not only will I never use her again to sell, but there is no way I will buy a property through her, either.
UPDATE: we received a letter from her lawyer stating that we can have our deposit back just so long as we don't publish anything bad about her. Nice....
UPDATE: I see that Leonie has been able to find some friends to write reviews on here. Still waiting for my deposit to be paid to me.
Rang and left message for her to call back (as per her response below) - no reply.
UPDATE: Out of the blue, received the deposit I was entitled to. It took 3 months and the threat of legal action but she finally acquiesced.

Absolutely terrible experience applied for a house with these guys about a month ago and and they've just been leading me on saying that the house manager is never in every time i call to see if i did or didnt get the house

Nuriootpa is a town in South Australia and the major commercial centre of the Barossa Valley, about an hour's drive north of the state capital, Adelaide. The name of the town is reputed to be the local Aboriginal word for "meeting place". Nuriootpa is situated at the north end of the Barossa Valley, near the Sturt Highway. It has a population of over 6,500 people, making it the largest town in the area. There are vineyards surrounding the town.
