Called in for Lunch all I can say is WOW we had lamb cutlets omg they were so tastey and cooked to perfection and chicken breast in whiskey and peppercorn sauce I've never had such tender chicken, the publican was very friendly . Wouldn't hesitate in going back again.

One of the best pub meals in the area. The beef cuts are delicious produce from the local area. Pork Belly was divine also.
Highly recommend and book a table if you are visiting on the weekends. It does get busy with the locals grabbing a bite.
Staff are amazing the prices are worth the value of the meals.

Probably the best county pub I have been to! Beer was cold with glasses fresh out of the fridge. The steak is part of a direct paddock to plate supply chain with local butchers! And some amazing artwork on the walls with local history! Must have a steak if you are in the area!

LOVE the food here - crumbed lamb cutlets and sticky date pudding the reason we drive this way from Melbourne to visit family (even though it takes 20mins longer). Lovely outdoor seating area with a breeze. Very family friendly

Read online review (I think it was RACV) and they recommended the steaks, as the owner is also the farmer and butcher.. Went twice, first night Scotch Fillet. Very good but not remarkable. Second night had the Fillet Mignon. OMG! Best steak I have ever had at a restaurant. I preferred the vegies to the chips and salad. Suggest booking on a Saturday night. Well worth a visit!!

Best steak I have ever eaten!! Great accommodation. And I've eaten steak from all over the world. I had the ribeye, and I could have cut it with a butter knife it was that tender. Excellently cooked and great flavour. The decor in the cottage was modern and contemporary. Really comfortable bed. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Bones and Suzie for having us.

We had a fantastic day. Hospitality and food was excellent. This is one country pub you must visit. Suzie and Richard are wonderful hosts. Loved it. Steaks cooked to perfection!

Probably the best little country town pub there is, awesome Parmas and it's all butchered in town so you know it's not frozen garbage.
The chips are also great as there cooked in lard so it's classic style.
Once again it's a great little pub with a beer garden,outdoor dinning, dinning room and a sports park

Fantastic place to eat. One of the best steaks I have ever had. Better than what you can get in Melbourne. Highly recommended. Can't wait to come here again.
