Country House Retreat

My wife and I, together with our adult children and partners, spent the Cup Day weekend and Kim's Country House Retreat. Despite the rain, we found this to be the perfect location for our family. There was plenty of room for 8 adults and two dogs; the abundance of clean, comfortable living spaces meant we weren't under each other's feet. The pizza oven and hot tub were special highlights.
The property was well appointed, very clean and welcoming - the personalised welcome note, farm fresh eggs and local produce samples were a nice surprise.
I'd highly recommend Country House Retreat as a great place to stay while exploring the Lakes area or even if you just want to enjoy the peacefulness of the bush setting.

A great place to stay. Spa is wonderful, as is the deck and the wood fire inside and fire pit outside. Epic grounds and lovely personal touches from the host.

WOW! Thank you for an amazing weekend away and hosting our team! The private banquet experience with chef Michelle was to die for! The Country House Retreat is the ideal private sanctuary for a girls weekend away.

Had a great time, the kids all enjoyed the open space and were excited to see the farm animals. We had a go at making our own pizza dough for the pizza oven, which turned out great! We had a great day down at the jetty with the kids, even went kayaking. The hot tub was a great way for us to relax with a drink or two once the kids went to bed. All in all a fantastic weekend away, we hope to come back one day soon.

Exceptional accommodation - we had such a relaxing and comfortable stay, and will definitely return. Perfect retreat for a romantic trip away, but heaps of space for a couple of families. Everything was thought of.... coffee pods, pizza dough ingredients for the wood fired oven, toiletries, books, games, a toasty warm hot tub on our arrival. The beds were really comfy, fireplace was beautiful and a soak in the hot tub under the stars was brilliant. Highly recommended!

What a great place for a break! Close to mountain biking, hiking, fishing and kayaking, you cannot go wrong with pet-friendly Country House Retreat. But the best part? The super-accommodating hosts! Kim & Co couldn't have been better to us and we will definitely recommend this place to friends and family alike.

Kids love it! Adults just as much. Watching new born lambs, hunting for yabbies, so much fresh air. Catching fish, watching dolphins and seals. Awesome pizza, many a wine around the fire pit. Comfy beds, toasty house that is larger in real life with an awesome deck. We will be back!

Absolutely amazing stay! So looked after, hot tub is great. We had an amazing time sitting in the hot tub even in the rain. Pizza oven too. Good distance from lakes entrance.

Great place to have a family holiday , pet friendly ,loved the pizza oven and spa . Booked a helicopter flight which was a real highlight . Definitely will return .

Beautiful home 🏠 feels like nana’s home reminds me about my childhood n stayed here twice with my hubby Vikrant behl and wana like to visit soon. Love this place and love it had wonderful experience

Immaculate Homestead set in peaceful surroundings, close enough to the action in Lakes Entrance and Metung.

Plenty of space, Netflix on the tv and a hot tub out side. What's not to like.
