Wentworth Visitor Information Centre

Just want to say Thank you to Wentworth town for the camping at the Bowls club car park. We had a great time in Wentworth. We had two awesome meals at the pubs. Great museum, enjoyed our stay.
We have our fingers crossed for the flooding not getting worse.

This is a must visit if you are headed through the area! Cathryn was a wealth of knowledge with a kind, lovely, cheerful and sunny disposition, who was willing to share maps, time and local knowledge! Thank you Cathryn.

We went in on Bec's last day here, she was an absolute font of information. Heaps of information on the local area and a bit further afield.

The lady was full of great information on places to visit, were to eat, were to stay if looking for free camping places. There were lots of brochures to help and plenty of items to purchase.

Motel prices very reasonable, very quiet with no road noise as motel is in the middle of town in the main street. The motel has its own restaurant that serve large meals at very reasonable prices. I'll be using this motel to stay at when I'm travelling to or through Narrandera

Two questions - answered by two lovely Staff. A lovely town. More than meets the eye. Perfect for Nature Lovers and Bush Walkers and Bush Campers. Just wish there was a shower facility open all hours for travellers and somewhere to free camp with toilets. Perhaps the Visitor Centre can recommend somewhere in the area where one doesnt have to go to Buronga for a 24 hr shower facility when finding that Hot Water isnt available at the Travellers Bike Hub in Mildura? A most spectacular part of the Murray and Darling River system. Worth a weeks visit at least!
