Crinigan Rd Bushland Reserve

It is always beautiful in the reserve, rain hail or shine. With Kookaburras laughing, frogs croaking, whip birds calling it is a wonderful place to wander and relax and just enjoy the sounds and smells of nature.

Fantastic area with many species of birds and plants, nice car park and washroom at the NE corner, great trail signs benches etc

Nice natural area with a range of well thought out tracks that lead through the reserve. It includes several dams and picnic areas as well as a few seats and rest areas as there are a few steeper tracks. Orchids are in the reserve and are shown on a shelter at the park entrance, there are also plenty of birds and other animals. The area has been very well maintained with boardwalks and rest areas in great condition. Dogs are allowed on a lead and there are some public toilets at the car park.

Nice to find a bush reserve so close to the town and an easy walk with natural paths and some constructed areas allowing for a useful picnic spot by a pond if which the are a few. Unfortunate to see a vandal has been cutting down trees within the reserve managed by Latrobe City Council.
