Excellent spot for the kids. Parking is Greta. However, if you have a BBQ trailer, you can't take it to the reserve area. Take a picnic basket.

It's quite safe for most kids but not toddlers. On a hot day, it's a great place to cool off.

Super cool spot. The natural formations of the rock are incredible. The water is beautifully cold even on the hottest summer days. Can get a little stagnant if it hasn't rained for a while but is perfect right now (April 21). It is really fun to explore, each hole is different and a mini world of smooth rock, tiny pebbles and mystery. Love this joint, well worth a visit. The road to get to it is very much off the beaten track.

The Cascades is a beautiful spot on your way out of Melbourne for a longer journey. It isn’t worth to just drive to see the Cascades, better combine it with another tourist attraction.

The last kilometer is on an unsealed road, easy to take, just go a bit slowly.

It was great fun jumping from one rock to another. It will work both for adults as well as for kids, just make sure they don’t end up in the water.

Great water and good to take a dip on a hot day. Be mindful that the rocks are slippery in places. Plenty of parking available.

Lovely out of the way spot, calm and peaceful, dirt road up to a small carpark, easy walk to cascades. Not suitable for people with wheelchairs or walkers Not busy when we were there although it might be in summer

Really fun to visit with the kids. Not much to really swim in, more of a splash and play around the rocks. Little walk up and down to get there. Great spot to cool off.

Stopped in here for a dip on a hot day. Lovely scenic spot to cool off, and sufficiently low key to not be too busy.

Beautiful place to visit. Semi secluded, but at the same time brimming with that beautiful nature that only Australia can provide :)

Great little place amongst the boulders. Didn't see any snakes, but did see a turtle in one of the rock pools! There was some glass shards on the rocks so watch out when barefoot. Sad that people leave smashed glass on the rocks.

Beautiful spot not too far away from Melbourne CBD. Great place to swim, super chilly water! Nice walk but be careful of snakes, we saw a tiger snake while on the track!

Read up on the reviews before we came and found out it was a great place to have a dip on a hot day. It was cold and rainy when we visited but still a great place for a dip. We recommend Tzatziki or French onion.

Great place with a small stream cascading through granite rocks. Part of its charm is that there is no great infrastructure except the nature of the place.

Beautiful landscape. Have been multiple times, gets busy in the summer but you can visit all year around. Fun for families but be careful on the rocks. W location.

Amazing... on a hot day... absolute heaven! unfortunately not much shade around so the water is pretty much the only relief.
