Empress King Garden Chinese Restaurant

Came in with a family of 5, we all ordered different meals and shared, all meals were yummy and reasonably priced. Exceptional service from our waitress who was busy juggling the phone, take away pickups and waitressing. She was a star.

My only suggestion would be making the ‘large special fried rice’ portion size a bit larger.

I'm glad I gave this restaurant & take away a try when I visited town for an overnight stay. Fabulous meal of chicken with ginger & veggies & some crispy noodles to top it off. I couldn't fault it!

I love this place it can be a little slow but to me it's always worth the wait :)

Quick an easy

Basic Chinese cuisine. The dishes we ordered for takeaway had a good mix of vegetables and very generous servings of meat. Not as cheap as some, but definitely value for money regardless. Great tasting food.

The short soup is amazing, best I've had anywhere, including Melbourne. The restaurant itself needs a little TLC but the food is better than a lot of Chinese restaurants I've eaten out in Melbourne. It isn't the cheapest Chinese restaurant around but the food is very nice.

Service is quick and the menu is huge. Prices are reasonable too

The food was not what I ordered, in actual fact I do not believe that it was edible after attempting to enjoy our $48 meal. I had intended to eat king prawns with garlic and seasonal veggies to our disappointment the veggies were only carrots with a sprinkling of celery in a watered down sweet and sour soup! The prawns were swimming in the same style garlic soup! It tasted well......... very wrong!!! Also chopsticks are not used at all in this CHINESE RESTAURANT. Don't eat here!
