Outstanding! Off the beaten track, easy to find. Fantastic setting of a cafe in an old church. Plentiful space indoors or out. Service is impeccable. Team is attentive and prompt. Best Eggs Benny in the Area, great value for money!

The Pork Cutlet special was enormous and delicious. All the meals were excellent. Possibly one of the best regional restaurants I have dined at.

What an amazing gem, hidden away off the main road to Kingaroy.
We had heard about how good this restaurant is and weren't disappointed.
They recommended booking before coming, but we dropped in on the off chance there would be a spare table, and there was.
An old church converted to a cafe/restaurant, and it was humming with people enjoying themselves.

One of the better restaurants in the area! The food tasted very good and was plated very nicely. You gotta hope you get an indoor spot though or else the bugs eat you first.

It’s a bit pricey but the portions are pretty worth. The location also has comfortable vibes. The service is great as well. Looks like someone’s house which is def a positive if you’re into that.

Drove 3 hours to visit Whipbird and it was worth every minute! This business is proof that, even tucked away down a little dirt road, people will come if it's worth the effort.

The venue itself, a renovated old church, is warm, inviting, spacious and tastefully decorated. Even full of diners, it didn't feel cramped or overly noisy.

The staff were lovely and catered to our needs with smiles and charm. Nothing was a problem and they were friendly and attentive throughout.

As for the food, it was fantastic. My potato rosti (from the all-day breakfast menu) was perfectly prepared; crispy and flavoursome, on a bed of bacon, rocket and chutney, topped with a textbook poached egg and thick, creamy Hollandaise.

My wife's Leek & Thyme Chicken, served in a cast iron pot, was even better than my own selection. It was a rich and delectable creation, with the chicken thighs incredibly moist and tender. It was so good that we requested some bread to mop up the leftover sauce!

We followed lunch with some impressive desserts (sticky date pudding & affogatto pudding), and a cuppa (flat white much enjoyed, and a more generic, least exciting choice of the day, Chai latte).

In summary, Whipbird provided an experience we regularly seek but rarely find. The venue, food and service were all 5-star. And yes, in agreement with some other reviewers, the prices are on the higher side. Nevertheless, in this case the adage 'you get what you pay for' rings true and, for us, it was money very well spent.

My eldest grandaughter Teana had her birthday there,Teana goes there all the time it is a lovely place and the food is soooo yummy.

Highly recommend dropping in and grabbing a bite to eat! Very friendly staff and such a cute setting. All of the menu sounded amazing and the three different meals we ordered were delicious. Best pancakes I've ever had (and that says a lot😍)

Nice little restaurant about 11klm outside Kingaroy Menu is small but what is on there was awesome The staff do an awesome job and the food was fabulous The steaks that came out looked fantastic and heard on table say they were perfect We had the gnocchi and it came with slices of incredible tasting sausage We were so impressed we booked a spot for breakfast the following day Staff advise to book either for dinner or breakfast

Lovely spot for a coffee and bite to eat on a cool Kingaroy day. Has a really cosy ambiance.

Quality food artistically presented. I had the slow cooked beef ribs, done perfectly and very delicious. Classy ambience. The other dishes friends ordered were beautifully presented, probably also quite delicious.

While grazing on a delicious and healthy meal served by delightful staff, Whipbird proves time after time a great place to dine and chat, even while our fur pups sit by our sides in a relaxing garden setting.

Wow..! That’s the word for me when something is just simply superb. My wife, our son and I went for breakfast @whipbird cafe and all was perfect from service to each meal and coffees. Thank you so much Whipbird Team for that amazing experience..!

Sweet little cafe. Good coffee and friendly staff. The menu is not very extensive but it's nice for a change and not too far from town. The meat dishes are some of the best Ive had.

Just out of Kingaroy is this restaurant that you really must go to. The food was exquisite with out being too complicated. We had port belly, lamb rump and duck salad. The duck salad was very generous with duck and the salad was delicious. The lamb rump was cooked as requested and also Delicious. The pork belly is the best I have ever had. The staff are friendly and the ambience is just great….an old church made into a restaurant. Do yourself a favour and visit. We had dinner but I noticed that it was open from breakfast and then right through the day. A real 5 star place.

I have no photos of the food because there was no time wasted hooking in. Their food was presented beautifully and tasted even better than it looked!! Fresh produce and melt in your mouth meat. Our party of 4 each had a different main and no one had food envy for the first time ever. Each meal was on point. We drove 1.5hrs just to eat here and hands down would do it again. Absolutely awesome!
