Kinka Palms Motel

Had a fantastic stay at this cute motel right on Kinka beach. You can't beat the location - the sand is just steps away from your door!

The rooms are beautifully set out, and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The best part is the well-equipped kitchenette. It has a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and even a little stovetop. They provide dishes, utensils and basic cooking supplies too.

The bed was soo comfy, the room was clean and thoughtfully decorated, and the staff were all very friendly. You can tell they take a lot of pride in running this place.

If you're looking for a laid-back, aesthetically pleasing, affordable place to stay right on the beach, I highly recommend this great little motel.

This is a great little spot. Friendly owners, clean and comfortable rooms a beautiful little bbq area and nice pool. I stayed here for the night, then I came back a few days later and stayed 2 more nights. This place will be my go to when ever I'm in the area. Upon writing this review I wanted to stay here again but booked out.. boo. I will be back though

Spent two nights here recently. The location is perfect, just out of Yeppoon, handy to the mariner and far more picturesque and relaxed.
Owners were friendly, helpful and very accommodating.
The rooms and facilities are well maintained and very clean. The owners have thought of everything and provided well equiped rooms.
Great place to stay. Highly Recommend.

A beautiful place to stay. Our family room was very neat and comfy. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Kids loved the pool and we enjoyed nights in the BBQ area. Beach across the road, transport at your doorstep, Highly recommend. Thankyou for an amazing stay.

What a fabulous refurbishment of a traditional motel. Rooms were fresh, clean, plenty of supplies and beds so comfortable. The setting is magical with the beach in front of you, a lovely pool area and exceptional outdoor setting. Perfect motel for families, couples and singles. Staff are friendly and it has a happy family business feeling. Highly recommend and I will be back.

Beautiful location. We got in late and they were absolutely wonderful to deal with. Room was very tidy and super comfortable. There was a camp kitchen with comfortable chairs and tables to sit at right next to the pool. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful stay. The best place we stayed at from our road trip. Exceeded my expectations. Beautiful swimming pool, barbecue area, greenery outdoor sitting area, close to the beach, well maintained and clean rooms. The staff’s are friendly. They even have laundry area and a small kitchen area in your own room. Parking space available. Highly recommend.

Spend a night, wish we could stay longer, thoughtful touches everywhere around the motel, I highly suggest staying and look forward to staying again.

What a little gem! We were pleasantly surprised at how fresh and updated the Kinka Palms are. The rooms are so nicely decorated, the entertaining and pool area are just beautiful, new laundry area with "honesty box" and just a short walk to the beach. Not to mention how lovely the owners are.
Definitely a place to stop at next time we're in the area.

Exceptional! I have stayed in accommodation twice the price and not as good. The refurb. is tastefully done and every last detail thought through. Very clean rooms and friendly and helpful hosts.

This accommodation more than met our expectations and should be 5 star. There was not a thing that we could possibly complain about and most of all lovely, friendly young couple own this accommodation. All freshly renovated.....just perfect.

The outside entertainment area with a large outdoor screen was perfect for us to end the day with a couple of wines

Wow, what a gem. We were so lucky to have chosen this Motel. Five stars straight away. We are travelling from Cairns to Sydney , so we booked some accommodation in advance and some since we arrived. We booked this since we arrived. This is the best so far, easily. We arrived mid afternoon , checked in where we met the owners. A lovely couple. Our room is beautiful. Opposite the pool , facing the beach. All the usual amenities but with extras. Cold water in the fridge, two small cartons of milk , complimentary soaps and gels in the bathroom. TV etc. The room is well furnished , all white which looks very good, small kitchen area and all necessary equipment if you need to self cater. The pool area is surrounded by a fence and has a tiled patio with smaller pool attached to the main pool. There is a large separate covered patio dining area with electric BBQ a huge fridge and wall mounted TV and washing facilities. There are lots of table and chair sets dotted around the lawn and loungers round the pool. The owner told us the bathrooms will be refurbished next year, but they don't need it in my opinion. As far as the price is concerned , we have paid more for a lot less . The sea coast here is beautiful , wild but exiting . Thoroughly recommended.

We had a lovely weekend stay here. The rooms are clean and modern and palm tree themed which gives great beach vibes. The room was a self-contained kitchenette with all the essentials for staying away, there was even a laundry on site. Only downfall was the wifi didn’t reach our room and there was no reception either so might be an issue if working away from home. Place is close to the beaches and a short drive to the surrounding towns. The owners were also very lovely, would definitely recommend the stay!

Peacefully, location across the road from the beach. Awesome swimming pool and undercover BBQ area. The beds are really good and the kitchen area is well equipped. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

We stayed for work and the rooms have everything you need to live comfortably! The rooms are clean, modern and nicely decorated. A full kitchenette complete with crockery and cooking utensils as well as laundry facilities. The owners are lovely and friendly. Location is a short drive to Yeppoon and Emu Park and within walking distance to the beach and local fish and chips shop. The only thing I can fault is that the WiFi did not reach our room and also had limited phone service so we had to step outside the room to use the internet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here as we found it accommodated all our living away from home needs and it was super clean 👌. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We booked here to stay one night on our way to Airlie what can I say it is absolutely brilliant I would give this 10 ⭐ if it would allow me to we have booked to stay on our way back home every thing is beautiful staff were amazing thank you I will definitely be telling people to stay with you loved it thank you. ⭐👍

A one of a kind gem!! Beautiful and tastefully renovated rooms (with indoor plants) and luxxe outdoor pool space. Will never stay in substandard rooms at Rocky and Yeppoon again when travelling the coast. Thankyou for the experience.
