Great fish & chips. Been coming here for 4 years on my travels. Had 3 sessions there this visit. Large portions compared to shopping centre meals.

Yummy fish and chips or a variety of burgers are on offer here. You can even buy sweet potato chips. Sit outside at the large table and chairs that can seat 4 families. Drop a line in the lake after lunch or relax under the shady trees.

Great coffee and yummy fish and chips.Cooked perfect. Lovely service. Young lady behind counter even counted back the change perfect. Great spot to visit and sheltered picnic tables nearby and public loos. Visited twice, totally recommend.

Me & my family love chilling here over the weekends. The sunsets here a so beautiful. Causeway has a fish & chips shop, lots of spots for fishing, and a kayak & Camping place also.

They easily have the best hot chips in town. Bacon and egg burgers, chicken burger, and the lot burger were all delicious and fresh. The staff are extremely friendly and plenty of seating, a perfect spot to look over the lake and eat. Will definitely visit again!

Made a detour from Yeppon beach to Causeway Lake to patronise this shop after reading many good reviews about it. Tried the local Spanish Mackerel and Red Emperor, both in batter. It was fantastic! Good timing in the fryer mades its batter crispy good. The fish and calamari is properly treated and does not have that fishy smell from most frozen fish meat. Fries with chicken salt is delicious too. Its chiller by the side has several sauces for you to choose from as well. Will definitely go again if I have the chance to visit in future.

I've been to Causeway Lake Shop a few times now, and I've always been impressed with the quality of the food. The fish and chips are my favorite. The fish is always cooked perfectly - flaky and moist, and the chips are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The burger is also well-made, with a juicy patty and all the fixings.
The atmosphere at Causeway Lake Shop is casual and relaxed. There are a few tables inside, but most people prefer to eat their food on the picnic benches overlooking the lake.
Overall, I highly recommend Causeway Lake Shop. It's a great place to get a delicious meal in a relaxed atmosphere.

Spent heaps on fish and chips but for me and friends family fish is awesome chucked a line in while waiting for it to be cooked highly recommended

We found this little gem today and my was I pleased we did. Clean and tidy, quick, the best battered fish I have ever eaten, great menu choices, and welcoming staff. You have got to try, if you haven't.

Very friendly and helpful service. Great burgers and generous sized meals. I took a group of senior citizens there for lunch recently and they are still talking about their great experience. Thanks for a great lunch. We'll be back soon.

Edit. Returned for another meal today with my senior clients. Same great service. Same great food. Probably the best prepared Red Emperor I've ever had.

I ordered the Steak Works Burger and a Lamb n Gravy Roll. The Burger was the best I've had in a long time the salad was crispy and fresh wow steak cooked to perfection and the egg was runny just how i like it. Now the lamb n Gravy Roll wow if you're in Yeppoon you've got to try this roll, the gravy was something else.
