Nice flat camping area with awesome amenities block. Can have power or not. Very crowded when we were there but so very quiet at night. Good stopping off place to drive the Lake Dunn Sculpture trail

Lovely small town - good meal at pub, and camping near Showground was pay 2 nights, get next 3 free. ( Excellent way of encouraging tourists to visit small towns) Get the Sculpture trail map from info centre, and enjoy finding them all in the circuit.

Other councils should take note. This is what a camp area should be like. Value for money $20pn powered pay 2 stay 5 an even better deals for longer stays. The ammenities were super clean daily and you could see the area was well cared for. 👏👏👏

It has everything a camper needs. It has showers and toilets. It has a laundry. I noted that tent sites was 5 dollars a night. Powered sites 15 dollars a night or 5 nights 30 dollars. We stopped there to take a break.

A great Council caravan park with new amenities. $20 per night or $40 for the next 4 nights. Within walking distance of the Main Street.

Clean and well maintained. A credit to such a small community.

What a fantastic resource for the little town. Very clean and well resourced amenities. The layout is well suited to caravans and the area was well maintained.
Excellent value for money. Well suited to the grey nomads and the traveller.
Also provided a good view of the sunsets.

A lovely caravan park, you pay for 2 nights abd get 3 nights for free. Amenities were very clean cannot fault it, there was only one washing machine in the laundry but that was OK YOU just had to wait your turn.

Terrific place to camp. The local Council have done a great job and are continuing with expansion. Previous comments regarding the amenities are spot on and we would love to see the cleaning staff retained forever as they do such a wonderful job. We stayed five peaceful nights and were even treated to some barrel racing next door. Great job Aramac, bloody well done. 👏

Omg for $15 a night you get water power and the best amenities block ever!!! A washing machine and the cleanest toilets great showers we've seen in ages. Ramps as well as steps but guys I have one complaint. With a granddaughter in a wheelchair you could have made 1 toilet/shower combo for total accessability. But all in all 5 out of 5 🤗🤗

This little town is going all out to attract visitors and the camp ground is a great example. Pay $20/night for 2 nights then the next 3 are free this includes new amenities, power and water connection. We did the sculpture trail from Aramac.

This caravan park is a little hidden gem in Aramac, we got here around lunch and have plenty of room both sides of our can not squashed in at all. Beautiful clean amenities and $3 washing machines and a great walk to town what more could one want - nothing, good job Barcaldine shire.

Great place to spend a few days $30 for 5 days, power and water. New amenities cleaned every day. The sculptures trail is first class with Lake Dunn being a great place to have morning tea or lunch.

Fabulous effort by this council. The new toilet facilities are amazing.
Just be prepared to be side by side.
Shame about caravaner's who feel they should take up extra space ie caravan, annex then car.
Please park your car at the front of your van that way all can fit.
Great spot for a couple of nights while seeing the 'Sculptures in the fields'.
Seeing all of these takes 5 plus hours. By the time you stop, investigate and photograph. Take plenty of water. Pack a lunch and stop in at Lake Dunn.
The road to Lake Dunn is sealed but after that be prepared for unsealed.

Pretty town & even though the van parking is in a long row like any van park, the spotless amenities & reasonable rates makes up for the closeness of neighbours. Barcaldine township showgrounds should do the same & not charge exorbitant prices as we will not stay there.

Well done Barcaldine council. Visited 4 years ago, & such an improvement since. Many grey nomads here.👍
