Pool, Freedom Camping
Victoria Park sits at the main intersection heading into Urana from Albury, Corowa and Lockhart(Wagga). Opposite the beautiful Aquatic centre, Victoria Park hosts Freedom Camping and major happenings such as the annual Campdraft and Machinary weekends. There is a shady 33 metre swimming pool open over the summer period to keep you cool, toilets and plenty of parking available. Victoria Park is a short walk from the Bowling Club, pub, museum, general store and cafe etc

We stayed for only one night, here at Victoria Park Sportsgrounds Camping Area at Urana, NSW. It has toilets open 24 hours, grassy camping sites, and loads of room for all sized rigs. It's across the road from the caravan park and another set of Public Toilets. It asks for a $10 a night donation for staying. Also across the road is a tall concrete tower with a lovely metal sculpture up high on the tower of a SPIDER. It's well done and very noticable. Also in town is another sculpture of a metal Lizard on a plinth and another of a horse. We enjoyed it all. Great place to stay.

Beautiful place but I don't know why the caravan park charge 20 dolar for unpower side , if 10 dollars is enough for one night , the pensioners and disability people don't have much monyto expenses, thank for you support

Urana is a small town in the Murray region of New South Wales, Australia. The town is in the Federation Council local government area. Urana is located between Lockhart and Jerilderie, about 561 kilometres southwest of the state capital, Sydney. To the west lies Lake Urana and the Lake Urana Nature Reserve. To the east lies a smaller lake, Lake Uranagong. Urana was the major town and headquarters of the former Urana Shire. The shire included the localities of Boree Creek, Morundah, Oaklands and Rand. The Urana district is used for raising sheep and for growing wheat and other grain crops. In the 2016 census, there were 298 people in Urana, of these 56.3% were male and 43.7% were female. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people made up 3.7% of the population. source
