Been camping here for years with the family . The caretaker Hayden is a top bloke , with both a love for the grounds and everyone’s comfort . The toilets are always well maintained , the grounds clean . Nice bloke that is happy to share his knowledge of the area .
Great family times with the kids . And so affordable!

One of the best spots we have found in nsw so far. Crystal clear water, not too busy, camp sites spaced out well and perfect weather.

No fish caught but :(

We absolutely love this place, we've been here twice now.
It was fantastic both times.
There's basic amenities like cold shower and toilets.
The swimming is awesome and the fishing is equally as good.
We're planning our next stay there right now.

What an amazing place.
Someone collects your fees once a day. No bookings.
There are toilets, drinking water and showers to rinse sand.
The wildlife is incredible. We shared our camp with some very curious Goannas.
The river system is amazing if you have a boat and there's some great fishing from a boat as well as the banks and flats. The beach is a quick swim across the river (which Dolphin frequent quite a bit) and a short walk through some National Park away.
Take good shoes and some bug spray 😉

A lovely spot right on the river. Space for over 30 camps on grassed areas with clean toilets. If you enjoy water sports eg fishing, boating its the place for you. Beware there is no phone reception.

Great place to camp with pets allowed and good fishing, river front, toilets and water. Price increase by $1 per site from 7/7/18

Fantastic little place for a camp, well maintained, clean amenities (no showers though) cheap and beside Warrell Creek, fish were biting but I only landed about a dozen undersized bream released back to creek. Plenty of rain when we stayed 2 nights but didn't spoil our time here.

What a perfect place to relax, enjoy the scenery, well organised camp run by polite and friendly Heyden, site manager. He is awesome at his job.
The river is awesome, great clean toilet amenedities, and perfect camping whilst distancing due to covid...highly recommend this spot, for a day, weekend, or time permitted of swimming, kayaking, fishing.

This is an excellent campground, kudos to Nambucca Council! The new facilities (loos and an outdoor shower) are brilliant. Situated on a lovely Creek and a short paddle and walk to a beautiful surf beach.

We found the caretaker (Michelle?) to be easy to deal with and very informative about the area. I have empathy for caretakers of campgrounds - what you may call harmless fun other campers may call obnoxious behaviour - and caretakers have to balance needs. Sadly, as commonsense is rapidly disappearing rules are needed to replace it.

If you've been punted from here, maybe you could reflect upon your own behaviour rather than blaming the caretaker?
