The Point Resort

This is our 4th stay here. Sharon goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs and wishes. The units have everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchens are fully equipped and so are the units' laundry facilities. There are family friendly beaches in both directions, as well as a wonderful pool, BBQ. putt-putt and table tennis area at the resort. There is also a shopping complex and service station a very short distance by car. We'll be back again.

We just had a fantastic 5 days at The Point in Bargara. Aside from a problem with our booking (not managements fault) that was quickly resolved everything else was great. Our apartment was modern spacious and clean and the view superb. Thanks in particular to Peter and Debbie who smoothed our booking issue and were welcoming and friendly.

Fabulous to stay at The Point Resort. Sharon has a Great place to stay for doing our Support Worker Hub training and assessments in Bundaberg and Hervey Bay.

Full self contained room, good size kitchen , bathroom, spa and wash machine and dryer in the unit. Good underground parking .

Easy access to beach walk and close to shops.

My stay at The Point has been enjoyable. The host is pleasant and friendly. She happy to help in anyway she can. The room is tastefully decorated with everything you would need. There's a nice pool area and of course ocean swimming across the road. There are plenty of eateries nearby. I decided on paying for a room with ocean views. Delightful.

After a booking mix up our end Sharon went out of her way to assist to place our group into a 2 Bedroom apartment. Her overwhelming positive attitude was refreshing and very much appreciated, a wonderful host. No doubt we will be back again, perfect room and view

I have stayed in many other places for business trips in the Bundaberg Bargara area and this is my go to.
The accommodation is just what I need when flying into the region. The staff are amazing on hand to help with anything needed. Checking in out of biz hours is easy when you’re flying in on a late flight.
The rooms are clean comfortable and have a washer and dryer full kitchen secure parking and there’s beautiful cafes and the ocean is at the doorstep.

Amazing place to stay

Found this place on a bit of a whim and managed to secure a last minute 2 bedroom waterfront for the family. Wow, what a location! Absolutely stunning views and just around the corner from a heap of great playgrounds, water holes and some unique beaches. Sharon, the onsite manager, was incredibly helpful, friendly and an absolute pleasure to deal with, and made the stay.
The rooms are starting to show their age a touch, but are so well setup and spacious, you can forgive any minor things.
Full kitchen, 2 bathrooms (2 toilets, 1 shower, 1 bath shower), and washer/dryer, made it easy with the 2 kids. Will definitely be back!

My son had to have surgery in Bundaberg so we had to stay local for two weeks after his surgery. We decided to go to Bargara and are not disappointed at all with choosing The Point Bargara to stay at for the two weeks. The location is amazing, nice quick easy walk to cafes, and beaches. The staff have been amazing and friendly. The managers Sharon and Craig are just next level. Sharon made us feel very comfortable and included my children in Christmas things and made us feel comfortable. We stayed in a 2bedroom ground floor apartment and it was great for the kids to be able to play around on the little grass area, it was also a huge bonus that their was putt putt golf, table tennis and a pool to keep the kids entertained. We wish Sharon, Craig and the staff a very merry christmas and thank you for our two week stay. We will definitely be back.

We love staying here at The Point Resort Bargara! We come up every year now for a charity golf day. Our first stay was Oct 2020 and we were immediately upgraded to a 2 bedroom unit as Sharon the manager didn’t want us cramped into a 1 bedroom with a 2 year old so we also got a bottom room with a courtyard which had access to the parks In front of the hotel and our little boy loved it cause he could ride his bike, play golf on the grass and also kick his soccer ball! The rooms are clean and spacious. This year we had our family stay as well as we pulled together a small wedding. They also raved about the accomodation. Sharon and Craig were amazing and even let me get into my Dads room to put up Balloons for my nephews birthday. This accomodation and the managers are amazing and make your stay so comfortable. Can’t wait to come back again next year!

We stayed recently in peak, and despite some of the reviews, we were pleasantly surprised at the state of the rooms, cleanliness, services and general presentation of the property. It’s 15 years old so you don’t expect things to be in perfect order (and for this fact alone some people may take off a star in their rating which might be fair), however our room and our experience was fantastic, we were very comfortable and we would absolutely stay again.

The resort is geared for families with kids, however that doesn’t mean it’s noisy and chaotic as there are also a number of residences in the complex and everyone is fairly well spaced out and seems to be respectful of the rules. The property is perfectly located just minutes walk from Bargara shops, golf club, beach and parks.

Sharon is the super friendly and helpful onsite Manager, and above all is an exceptional host. Nothing is ever a problem and she is always makes you feel like welcome and this makes the place feel like a home away from home.

We couldn’t have picked a better location for our holiday!

Lovely apartment on the water. We have a sunset view and it's a large spacious apartment. Price was very reasonable considering it is school holidays. Clean, neat and tidy. Reception staff were very helpful. Has mini golf, a pool and spa. Definitely worth visiting and staying here.

Amazing! Perfect distance to walk to the beach and the cafes. The facilities were excellent and everything was well maintained in the unit. Beds were large and comfortable! Putt putt, table tennis and the pool were great entertainment for the whole family! Thank you Craig and Sharon (onsite mangers) for going above and beyond to make us feel so welcome.

Sharon and Craig went above and beyond! Unfortunately, We booked our accomodation through Trip A Deals and due to their lack of communication between them and Sharon @ The Point Resort, when we arrived and Sharon didn’t have the amendment that was done on our booking 8 weeks prior but Sharon was amazing. She ensured we were accommodated beautifully and because of this we will definitely be back.. She was a beautiful soul with a huge heart for her customers. Kudos to you both!!

Fantastic weekend stay ! Clean and well appointed apartment in a terrific location, with an awesome view.
Would also be great for families with the pool, putt putt etc.
The managers obviously take pride in their establishment and it shows. Very friendly and hospitable.

I arrived on the 25th May, and was greeted with a very warm welcome from the staff. I went to my room 405 and when I walked in, I stop and could not believed the view. The room was up to my standard, also very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. You r walking distance to cafes, pubs, and golf course. I have stay in 5 stars hotels, and guess what, give me the Point Resort anytime over them. Thanks guys for a great stay and I will be back. Bob

Lovely hotel located very close to the heart of Bargara. The staff was very welcoming to our stay. The hotel features a swimming pool (& spa), a small putt putt course and table tennis, uncovering parking available. PLEASE NOTE THE PICTURES TAKEN IS AT THE END OF OUR STAY.

We had the most wonderful apartment, with a fantastic sea view. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Bargara is an ideal spot, just big enough to have that village atmosphere. Lovely coffee shops.Woolworths complex is very close.

Modern, friendly, comfortable, well-located, extremely well equipped apartment rooms. Nice buffet breakfast, nice pool. What more could you want? Ok, a free shuttle buggy to the end of Hastings Street and back! Highly recommended.

This was the most amazing experience, staying at The Point. We were upgraded right from the start, the Manager was just awesome and so accommodating, friendly and she was so sweet to us and visiting family members. Will definately stay again. Right on the beach, and superbly located near everything you could every need. Thank you Sharon.
