It may be small but it sure packs a punch with an extensive range of fresh fruit and veg. There is also a good range of local wines and gins (behind the counter!).

The deli counter is fantastic, and there is also a great selection of local cheeses and dairy as well as fresh made salads and small meals.

Staff are efficient, fast, and friendly and clear long lines super fast. Overall awesome!

Hill St are known for supporting local farmers which is why we buy most of our fresh fruit and veg there. Excellent quality and reasonable prices. The deli is excellent of course and sells a wide range of pre-prepared foods as well as the usual deli fare. They have a wide range of grocery lines, but often only available in smaller size packaging so a bit more expensive than the big supermarkets. They also have a good range of frozen goods as well dairy, and an excellent and extensive range of cheeses. They also stock a large range of Wursthaus meats. They do sell fuel, both unleaded and diesel, and if you spend more than $30 in store you get a docket which gives an extra 6c off what are already quite reasonable prices. The only nuisance is you must go in and pay first or else leave your card whilst you fill up and pay later.

Excellent food platters and service. I made contact with this store on the recommendation of a local accommodation provider to help me to put together a nice food platter for the arrival of my parents who were visiting for their 50th Wedding Anniversary. I've been a customer for years while living in Tassie. Even though I have moved out of Tassie now, I still make it a point to revisit this place as the staff are always so warm and accommodating. Nice food from the deli too!

Great little supermarket with high quality fruit and vegetables. They also stock a small range of Tasmanian wines plus a delicatessen counter.

Amazing spot, extensive range of fresh produce, deli items, prepared meals, and non-perishables, with super friendly service. Favourite purchase was local Crofton variety apples - perfectly crisp, sweet, white flesh. Will return.

The ultimate gourmet grocery store. Chock full of fresh, locally sourced produce, deli small goods, seafood, meat & a solid range of groceries. They're under the IGA banner, so have weekly specials also. The friendliest, personal service you'll ever receive from a supermarket.

Great supermarket - has enough range to keep you going without having to leave Lauderdale, the prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly.

Hill Street Lauderdale has amazing fresh, local when possible fruit and vegetables. It is so convenient and their service is exceptionally great! They go out of their way to be helpful and friendly and they offer and take groceries out to the car.

This would have to be the best IGA in the country. We are from Far North Qld and have holidayed in this area several times and we always look forward to using this IGA. The produce is exceptional and the recent Birthday Cake we ordered and purchased was simply the best!
