Absolutely fantastic! Sandy and Dimity made our stay welcoming. These two ladies went above and beyond. No request or task was too much. A real home away from home. Thank you to you both for really making our Tassy holiday a great holiday. We will definitely be back and so will our friends.

Highly recommended. So close to a great IGA , operated by a super husband and wife team. They fed us and gave us great local insight.

My wife and I stayed in a cabin for 4 nights. It was just like being home. Cozy, well appointed, and located well to all we wanted to see and do in the Launceston area. We had an issue in the cabin on a Friday night called the after-hours number, and Sandy promptly got onto it for us. We met the amazing Todd, the caretaker, and he sorted out the issue, and of course, Liz, the manager, made sure we were ok. Great team, and thanks for making our stay entertaining and wonderful. Heartily recommend this as a place to use as your base.

Stayed at Discovery Parks Hadspen for one night after a long day at cradle mountain. It's easy to find the accommodations. We had informed that we would be checking in late, so the receptionist was nice enough to let us know the locker number to pick up the keys.

The cabin was clean and well kept. The kitchen had all the appliances and a few staples. Loved the stay at Discovery Parks.

I love the place and all. Complete facility with the bbq space, laundry, kids playground and game room.

Great service and location, good sized spots (en-suite). Close to all local attractions. Camp kitchen needs a bit of an upgrade, ie heater and door. Would definitely stay again.

Friendly operators, we were last minute book in yet no bother for them. We had a powered site for van was well positioned and level etc. Amenities were modern and clean, showers were hot. Communal kitchen n bbq has all you need. Small park, mostly cabins, allowed pets yet I never heard one bark or was disturbed by one. Well positioned

The cosiest cabins with pretty much everything you would want and need, all on the one place! And pet friendly too!! Looking forward to my next stay! Thanks Liz and crew!!

Excellent Cabins and Park also great IGA express next door

A very clean cabin suitable for pets. The extra comforts like electric blankets, split systems in each cabin made it a really fantastic stay. The children loved the giant bear & playground. There is also a playground across the road.

Absolutely beautifully clean park, amenities were spotless and the whole park was kept to a high standard. Loved our stay here.

The prompt assistance, flexibility and great service we recieved made a difficult time a lot less trying. The rooms and amenities were of a good standard and we intend returning in the future.

I would definitely recommend Hadspen Discovery to anybody wanting to be close to town, but out of town. We have stayed in three different cabins and also camped at Hadspen Discovery over the past 8 months. The cabins were always clean, fresh and homely and the camp facilities, laundry and bbq area were great. This park itself is very well run, neat and tidy and has a nice vibe about it, the staff were always friendly and the managers were really lovely and always too happy to help with anything. Awesome!

It was our last-minute decision to stay at Discovery Parks as me and my husband were scrolling up and down on the internet to choose where to stay as it was all booked out in most of the places because of the peak holiday season but at last, we offered a Cabin Cottage and it was mind-blowing. I am never going to regret my decision. We are going to visit Discovery Parks again next time and this next time maybe for more than one night. Everything was super clean, with nice BBQ areas with fire pits and a camp kitchen. Laundry and other grocery shops nearby as well. Thanks a lot, Discovery Park for the amazing stay. I also would like to appreciate the wonderful lady at the reception for helping us through.

We stayed at this lovely little park in our caravan for a month
From the time we arrived to the time we left the ladies were always so helpful and so friendly. This park is a little old but the staff are seem to be always working to keep the ablution block and kitchen areas clean and I better not forget the gentleman who's name I can't remember, who also works there, who looks after the outside area with the women.
If you are looking for a caravan park to stay while exploring Launceston it is about ten minutes out, quiet and ticks all the boxes and the rates are great.

Great cabin. Love that it has an oven. Gas fire place is very toasty.
Only downside was main bed.
But otherwise excellent place to stay.

Quiet, convenient, and easy to recommend. We camped, but the cabins look decent and the bathrooms are good. There's a small playground for kids, and a number of others nearby in Hadspen. The local shops are just at the entry to the camping area, and sell some of the best hot chips I've eaten.

My accommodation preference is a holiday park.

I was very comfortable, experienced easy late check-in and on-time check out.

Bed was very comfortable.
Decent kitchenette with microwave, cutlery and crockery , and kettle and toaster. There was a small hot plate and grilled.

Surrounded by mountains with access to highways.

I will be returning.

Love it. Great, reasonably quiet location, so we are here for a week and doing day trips off in different directions.
The deal in Discovery holiday parks at the moment is "stay 3 days, only pay for 2".
We have a 2 bedroom self contained cabin and there is plenty of room for us as a couple. (Have to use shared laundry though)
It's cheaper than other motel accommodation and heaps more room.
