Holly Lodge

Had a weekend away with the girls, it was exactly what we wanted. Somewhere cosy and in the bush, a wonderful cabin that has everything u need. So quiet and dark with comfy beds and lounges. A real cabin place that was wonderful. Would definitely recommend for people who want to just get away and relax and re charge. We will be back. 😘😁

This cabin is AMAZING! It looks and feels like something out of a storybook. The big log fire; the cosy couches; the rustic kitchen and the comfy beds - it's all delightful. Unlike the rest of the Blue Mountains, the big front and backyards here are full of giant pine trees. It gives it such an amazing and unique feeling. Can't wait to go back to Holly Lodge!

Beatiful cozy log cabin. Made me feel like I was in Laura Ingle's Little House in the Big Woods. Two fireplaces and a smart tv. Only downside is the floorboards upstairs are pretty creaky. Some lovely rainforest walks around. The perfect place for boardgames, reading and cups of tea or mulled wine.

This was our second stay at Holly Lodge and it was as amazing as the first. As soon as you creep slowly up the driveway and the lodge is revealed, the pine trees surrounding the property engulf you and the hectic bustle of the world disappears. Idealy centrally located in Medlow Bath we were able to travel all over the mountains region in reasonable time to visit locations and be home in time for an afternoon nap. (The lodge practically begs you to have a nap - you'll understand as the sun drops and the filtered light hits the back of the lodge like someone has dimmed the lights for you). Red wine by the fire closes out each day. For those who like walking, find the 'Blue Mountains Best Bush Walks' guide on the bookshelf; we have used it both visits and discovered great walks only a short drive from the lodge.
Jenolan Caves is an easy hour and bit drive, well worth a visit. The Lucas Cave and the Orient Cave are our favourites.
On a clear day, high tea around the corner at the Hydro Majestic makes for a perfect afternoon (book a table at the windows).
It is impossible to be disappointed by any part of your stay at Holly Lodge.

Our family had the most wonderful stay at Holly Lodge, we cannot fault it in anyway. Just magical. ❤

A lovely hideaway in beautiful Medlow Bath

Great place to stay for a reasonable price

We went here to get away from construction noise in our city and got... 4 days of construction noise. Hid the fact that there is 2 houses being built next door. Was soooo looking forward to this trip and spent 4 days putting the noise cancelling headphones on at 6.45am. The listing we booked under was changed and now it's run by Heidi and Luke ( have stayed in 1 of their properties before and had a bad experience with them). I just wish we had known about the noise, then we could have made other arrangements. The way they carry on about how peaceful it is, it's just false advertising. I have been severely depressed since I came home and cry all day. Just a waste of money.
