If you are looking for an amazing weekend away with your partner where you can disconnect from your everyday routine, relax and completely enjoy each others company this is the perfect place to do it!! We stayed in the love cabin and so much imagination has been put into this place this place which you just don’t find in a hotel room. The spa under the trees, the cozy fireplace, the comfortable bed and everything you need is there to complete your stay. We highly recommend and can’t wait to go back! Very unique and special experience! Thank you!

Just perfect. Surprised my wife with a weekend stay here and it was one of the best things we have ever done together. Highly recommend the couples massage to start off your stay along with the platters offered. The quietness, calm, cleanliness of the Dream Cabin and friendliness from staff made us feel as warm as the fire inside. For any who are doubting because of other older Google reviews, rest assured the cabins are filled with books of handwritten 5 star reviews from many recent guests.

Fantastic place lives up to expectation. Drop toilet in the cave but i didn’t care i use them quite often and dont mind them. Waking up to a amazing view every morning was so worth it. My 2 night stay has helped calm and rejuvenate me so much.. shower, rooftop bath and spa exceeded my expectations.

I could stay here forever if i could, this cave reminded me what home is for me! I felt safe here, i really will come back again. I miss it already , cant wait to experience the other great cabins especially the secret treehouse!!

We stayed in the secret tree house which was absolutely amazing.
The views were stunning, peaceful, relaxing and worth doing.

Bring plenty of food if you don’t like driving Keep in mind the tree house doesn’t have an oven. only cook top and micro wave. (Maybe bring aluminium foil and cook in the fire place ) although I didn’t think it was that much of a drive to the cider/pizza place which was so good is worth the drive. The hive is shut on tues and Wed.

Definitely do the glow worm tour with Tracey it’s worth it. Be out with nature it’s why you went there.

I’ve seen a lot of negative comments about the toilet and I didn’t have any issues with it. It’s a compost toilet so few rules to follow like keeping the lid shut at all times goes a long way.

We will definitely be back to try the cave.

My husband and I stayed at the tee pee 2 years ago and are about to return for 2 nights at the dream cabin and both can't wait as our 2 nights at the tee pee was absolutely amazing, to make the booking was super easy and the following day I received a booking confirmation email with everything I needed to know about our stay with easy to follow directions, and that towels were not included. Upon our arrival the fire was already lit ( which was great as it was rainy, cold and dark when we arrived ) we loved everything about the tee pee, it was totally what we expected knowing it was in a secluded area in the mountains, we loved just the radio going no phone or internet ( no kids calling us) playing board games, cards, chatting in front of the fire. The actual tee pee was amazing. We loved the view from the spa and I would give anything to have a view like that every time I had to use the toilet ( even with the occasional smell). There was heaps of split firewood which we certainly used, our fire never went out the whole time .(good wood) We had one of the most beautiful meals delivered by Caroline from come by chance cabin catering it was devine we had a beautiful walk around some of the walking tracks. Lionel did pop in the day after our arrival to check in that everything was good, whom I found pleasant and friendly. So if its a beautiful, quiet, simple getaway
you're looking for this is the place, because overall we had one of the most simple, relaxing, romantic 2 days together and cant wait to return and try a different cabin.

I booked before reading the reviews, and got really worried, but i can confirm the issues are no longer a concern. I am staying at the Love Teepee, just had my first night.

The place is clean and charming. I haven't come across bugs. Place feels well sealed.

Drop toilet doesnt smell, they have installed a fan to take the smell out.

Hot water hasn't run out on us so far. The water was clear without tannins, though we have had lots of rain recently.

All the appliances work well.

Privacy - The Love Tee Pee is quite close to the office, but there is a fence blocking the view. There are no curtains for the shower or bath. However, we haven't felt its an issue and its private enough to be naked.

Some reviews reported leaks. It rained last night and there were no leaks.

Wonderful and unique experience. As long as you know what to expect from a semi-isolated location in the blue mountains you can ignore the 'less than flattering' reviews. This place is about 'the experience' and disconnecting from the larger world. Mobile reception isn't great - it's supposed to be that way! The water for the rooftop bath can be a little brown/brackish but that's the way it is when you're isolated in the Aussie bush. Same with insects and critters - YOU are in THEIR home, not the other way around (we had zero issues with insects). Lionel has done an damn amazing job building all the cabins himself and does listen to feedback (eg. he has installed one screen door on the sliding doors in the enchanted cave) but he still wants to keep the experience as authentic as possible.

Tips: extra candles for ambience (rather than masking smells), better location to visit during cooler temperatures (we were there in early May) although lazing outside under the outdoor shower when it is warm would be amazing, glow worm tour is incredible but sturdy shoes/clothes that you don't mind getting dirty are essential.

We'll be going back to try the other cabins for sure!

Our experience at the Wollemi House went far beyond our expectations. It is a beautiful wooden house surrounded by trees, out of reception (which I loved), away from the hustle of the city and still offers all the comforts you could need.
We thought it would be too big for two people, especially in winter, but it is amazingly cosy.
It is incredible what Tracey and Lionel have created. You can tell how much care and love they have put in every single corner of the house. They also made the booking process and the arrival very smooth and easy.
Very clean, warm and special.
Definitely somewhere magical I can not wait to come back to ✨

Amazing location and beautiful rustic cottage! Good amenities and was nice and clean!
They placed roses and candles for our romantic arrival!

Don’t pay attention to the 1-stars, it is remote in the bush, and amazing. We had 1 moth haha

The driveway for the Love Cabin is off road and up a steep hill. So maybe don’t tale a lowered sedan!

Me and my partner stayed in the Enchanted cave and don't have a negative thing to post. It was a great experience and will happily do it again.

And for the complainers who sook about insects and a little bit of dust and dirt should probably just stay in the city; this is coming from a clean freak who also isn't a fan of creepy crawlies.

It's in the bush, its remote and therapeutic.

My partner and I stayed in the Love Studio for two nights, although I wish we could have stayed for longer. The space was incredibly romantic and private, and we loved being able to curl up by the fire during the night. The highlight was the spa bath - being able to open up the windows made it feel like we were bathing completely outdoors! It was unforgettable experience and we are keen to come back! Thanks Lionel for sharing your beautiful place with us.

I love how people comment on spiders and spider webs and that it's not clean and blaahhh blaahhh blaahhh but I have to say that you are going to the wilderness where you complain about wild life (REALLY 🤔???) Yes there are spiders, yes there are spider webs and yes the place IS CLEAN - I feel like people are way to spoiled nowadays and can't appreciate how special this place actually is! If you drive pink car and have pink iPhone and live in the pink house spend 80 percent of your day on instagram well no this place is definitely not for you!

The owner is super friendly and professional, he's happy to help with anything you need whenever you need! In fact he built this place with his own bare hands and I have to say he's a genius because the way the cabins, cave and the tree house is built is just a master piece!

A nature lover's dream come true.

We stayed at the Enchanted Cave and it was an absolute out of this world experience! From the design of the cave through to the attention to the finest details within only to top of it with a breathtaking view of the valley. No better way to escape civilisation and to immerse with nature but still have modern essential creature comforts like a well themed kitchen, gas, hot water and electricity to survive any harsh Australian weather conditions thrown at you (was winter when we stayed with temps ranging from 1°C to 11°C along with gale force winds).

The instructions getting to cave were very clear and simple. We were greeted by Lionel himself to which he had already started the fireplace prior check in so we can get warm and cosy from the moment we step in and also documents with clear instructions starting the fire with plenty of wood available along with other documents regarding the property.

We also booked a nature guided tours with Tracey which was a very intimate experience, we regularly hike in the Blue Mountains but we learnt so much through her tours.

Return factor: 11/10
We will be back for the Tree House! Maybe other cabins too!

We stayed in the dream cabin and it was an amazing experience. The cabin has so much character and all sorts of cool hidden parts to discover. They set up the fireplace for your arrival and have a jacuzzi outside with great views. The price is steep but totally worth the experience. You should keep in mind that this is not going to be a 5 star hotel level of comfort but it is really relaxing in a rustic way. Make sure you bring your own towels as they dont provide. If you are conscious about bathroom activities, both bathrooms are not very private so get comfortable with that. Everything is clean so nothing to worry about there. I can't recommend this place enough, it was an awesome 2 night stay.

We had a magical stay in the wilderness cabin. The experience allows you to be at one with nature and enjoy sharing the beauty of wollemi with its natural inhabitants. The cabin itself has been crafted with a great deal of care and thought and allow some you to make the most of the wilderness. You have to accept that you are staying in the bush, this is how to truly experience it. If The accommodation tried to be anything else it would deviate from the authenticity of the place. We found it very clean upon our arrival and enjoyed all the information Lionel had provided about the area. We hope to return!

Stayed in Kissing Cave. Rained the whole time but who cared. Lit the wood fire, cooked gourmet meals together, and relaxed away from civilisation & mobile phones. Reading other reviews, its about expectation. Expect 5 star luxury and every modern comfort and you'll be disappointed. But expect a private experience in accomodation that is themed, remote and beautiful, and its worth its 5 stars. The Kissing Cave was beautiful. Yes, its in the bush, at the end of a dirt road, with a composting toilet, and miles from restaurants or traffic, but from the time you enter the tunnel down the stairs into the cave, its very clear you're stay can be as unique & fun as you hoped. Loved it.

Had a really lovely time staying at Wollemi Cabins. The dream cabin was very spacious completed with a fire place and a spa bath. The views were spectacular. I must say I had a very relaxing time. I highly recommend this place!

Stayed in the treehouse the last couple of days. Incredible place to stay; relaxing, beautiful views, simple, offline. Short drive to some incredible walks and swims (Wheeny Falls) and recommend Hillbilly Cider too down the road.

We had a wonderful time lost in the wilderness at the Dream Cabin.

The view was breathtaking, and the cabin was nothing short of a dream!

We highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to escape reality, kick back with a glass of wine and unwind.

Thank you Lionel - we will definitely be back! xx
