This place is so beautiful. Being only an hour and a half from the city it is amazing, riding horses feeding goats and playing with all the dogs all thanks to Donna the on site farm manager. She is extremely nice and helpful showing all around the grounds and bringing you farm fresh eggs. The heritage listed house is beautiful with a huge swimming pool and private beach. HIGHLY recommend to all if looking for a luxury farm stay for a weekend out of the city.

Spent a wonderful weekend at Cross Park. The whole estate is geared up for a tranquil retreat from the city. Its just so peaceful. As you get on the ferry you can feel that you're leaving the city behind you - yet it's only an hour away. It was the perfect blend of roaring fires, red wine and fresh country air. Our dog certainly enjoyed all the farmyard smells and was particularly intrigued by the alpacas. Will definitely be back.

Our family would absolutely recommend Cross Park. It was the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Kids couldn't get enough of the horses and farm animals (thanks Donna!) and we were able to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the farm. The accomodation was also superb (not that we were inside for long!). Really felt like we were miles away but still only a short drive from Sydney. We will definitely be back with friends!

Cross Park is an exceptional place. The house is simply stunning and the setting will blow you away. It's so serence and peaceful and yet only an hour and a half from Sydney - definitely the best of both worlds. There's an amazing farm manager on-site, Donna - who looks after your every need - even bringing fresh eggs from the Cross Park chickens for breakfast. Definitely a place that needs to be seen to be believed.

Nothing could have prepared us for Cross Park and it's beauty, only a short drive from Sydney's CBD the location is spectacularly beautiful an incredible oasis of calm and serenity. It is the perfect escape for everyone, with plenty to do if you are looking for activities the discreet staff are available to assist at a moments notice. The horses are incredible and available to suit all abilities, the accommodation is wonderful, the beautiful historic house is relaxed and well equipped providing beautiful accommodation to rest and relax after the days activities with lovely freshly laid eggs available from the resident hens. We had the best time imaginable it really is an awesome place to connect and unwind with family and friends!

What a truly amazing weekend! I proposed to my girlfriend at CrossPark and from start to finish every moment of our stay was perfect. The property, the animals and the atmosphere of CrossPark made our proposal unforgettable. Dealing with Donna and Sara has been an absolute pleasure and they went out of their way to ensure that I was able to execute everything that I had envisioned. Many thanks to you both, as the weekend would have not gone ahead without your help! The property is so vast and the amount of friendly animals is incredible as well. The homestead has been tastefully renovated and is in fantastic condition. Our weekend was so unforgettable that my now fiancée and I plan make an annual trip to CrossPark and cannot wait for our next stay!

Cross Park is one of those 'weekend away' places you wish you'd discovered years ago. A beautiful character filled homestead on 150 acres of working farm with 3kms of river front and it's only just over an hour from Sydney. There is lots to do and see if you want to be active and if you want to relax then you will find the house and grounds very comfortable.

Cross park is something out of a story book. When I first arrived I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. Pulling up you immediately get a sense of how amazing this place is. I remember seeing horses frolicking in the distance, tree lined roads heading to the grass fields and a gorgeous patio area. Not to mention the house. I don't think I've ever come across a sandstone brick home before but it's really neat along with its history. The house also has all the accommodations of a brand new home. Overall, an amazing, beautiful, peaceful escape from the city life with a great small town feel. Definitely recommended!

Beautiful spot. Had a great time at Cross Park. Only a short drive from Sydney but feels like you're a world away. Perfect chill-out spot with a pool but also an easy walk down to the river past the horses and cattle. Highly recommended.

I have had my rising 3yo thoroughbred filly agisted at the magnificent Cross Park for approximately two years now. During this time I have seen my filly grow and develop extremely well in a loving, nurturing and caring environment. The staff (particularly Donna) have always acted in the best interests of both my filly and myself in a thoroughly professional and communicative manner. I have had thoroughbreds agisted at a number of other different properties in the past but none of them comes close to the quality of care provided by Cross Park. I can not recommend Cross Park highly enough. In summary Cross Park in my opinion is probably best described as heaven for horses.

Kind regards,
Terry

I was looking for an agistment/ retirement place for my horse Shoni that would let him ultimately “be a horse” in his sunset years – running around with a small herd in large paddocks, but also being cared for as he aged and not just left out to waste away. I was so relieved and excited when I found Cross Park. It is one of the most beautiful properties I’ve seen, that also offers top notch facilities with a full size dressage arena, round yard, tack room, stables and wash bay.
From my first contact with the manager, Donna, I knew I was leaving my horse with someone who would care about him as much as I did. They had a great variety of feeding programs, were very well priced, and committed to giving him as much attention as he’d get from me. My 27 yr old Shoni has loved Cross Park, and I can see how relaxed and happy he is there (and his hooves have never been healthier!).
A huge thank you to Donna and her team for their professionalism and care.

What a gem of a place, just 70 mins from Sydney...

The house was amazing, we made the most of the beautifully appointed homestead and acreage, hanging out with the alpacas, horses, chickens, goats and so much more.

With easy access to the river we were able really enjoy the Hawkesbury.

We arrived Friday night, frazzled after a week of work and hectic life in the city, we left on Sunday (reluctantly) relaxed and revitalised!

I can't wait to stay again.

We had the most amazing weekend Thankyou!!!!!!!!
It was a gorgeous hot weekend in the beginning of spring and there were beautiful baby animals everywhere, which our little babies thought was just awesome.
And the weather was perfect for relaxing and playing by the pool.......who wouldn’t be happy with that amazing view as a backdrop.
We loved the house and everyone commented on wanting to stay forever.

Cross Park was great for our Corporate Strategy Day. Far enough from Syd to feel like you're really away, but only 90 mins from the east. Stunning location, views. Beautifully maintained equestrian style farm

Stunning property. So much to do and see. Fish/boat/kayak in the river, explore the acreage and say hello to all the beautiful farm animals. The house is spacious and beautifully appointed. Perfect for an out of city getaway.

Beautiful home set in the country, a stones throw from the hustle of city life. Comfortably slept 12 of us and everyone left wishing we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to relax and get a breath of fresh air.

We had a wonderful time. Such a lovely aspect, so many animals and who knew goat’s pupils are rectangular! Local pub is hysterical and the beach on the river is like a secret getaway! We will be back.
