We just spent the most wonderful three nights at this park with the wonderful hosts Lyn and Larry who just happen to be our good friends!
Lyn and Larry go above and beyond to make every guest feel at home, hosting happy hour each afternoon and offering a 2 course camp oven dinner on a Sunday night!
The amenities are clean and the showers are hot! We can't recommend this place highly enough!

Great place to stay. Larry and Lyn make you feel very welcome, very geniene people. All residents are welcome, after 4pm join around the fire in the communal shed which is filled with heaps of character and characters. A must for a stop over or longer to enjoy the experience of being around a fire and connecting with Larry and Lyn and other travellers.

What a great little van park. Loved the camp fire every evening from 4.30pm with nibbles. Rustic camp shed with interesting artefacts. Lovely down to earth couple Lyn and Larry, very friendly. Old but clean amenities. Best spots are at rear of park.

Larry the park manager welcomed us as we pulled in and showed us where to set up for the night. The park is small but can easily fit 30 vans and is very clean with cement slabs and grassy areas. Larry and Lynn invite all to come together in the Arvo for happy hour with nibbles, and happy hour is definitely what you get. I have never laughed so much. Other lovely park guests provided humour and funny as stories and anecdotes of their travelling escapades. We all sat around a fire under a rustic half shed that had so much character and warmth that I really didn’t want to leave. This will be our stop wherever we head this way in the future. Please stop here and enjoy real country hospitality. And before I forget, Larry and Lynn even cooked us a bbq steak sandwich which we all insisted we’d pay for even though they didn’t want us too. Also, as a bonus the thermal pool opens @7:00am and closes at noon Monday-Saturday. They open Sunday but I forgot the opening and closing times sorry 🤔

An amazing park that feels relaxing and tranquil. Lyn and Larry run a very well structured show. They have evening drinks, which are a great way to meet people and they are very down-to-earth. I was only supposed to be there for two nights and ended up staying five. I would highly recommend this park. Hats off to Lyn and Larry for running an amazing park - I will be visiting again 🙂

A lovely small caravan park. Amenities were dated but kept spotlessly clean, showers are hot and have great water pressure. The owners are lovely, welcoming and always happy to have a chat. Definitely a must stop!

We had read great reviews about the caravan park and the hosts Larry and Lyn. This stopover was a highlight on our trip, the amenities are old but spotlessly clean and the happy hour is well run and welcoming. Mungindi was a great stopover on our trip and the sculpture trail around the town is well worth the time.

When I drove into the park I was greeted by Lyn, who showed me where I was to park my Ute and trailer for the night.
She invited me over to a little half shed for beers and snacks, where a few other park visitors we’re chatting away.
The park is small but has everything you need, power, water, showers and a laundry and the servo is just over the road.
Lyn and Larry are very good hosts and will do their best to provide you with what you may need. They are good people and would definitely stop at their park again

Great little park. Hosts Lyn and Larry were helpful. Sunday night the park put on a roast cooked in camp oven with pumpkin and a sticky date slice for desert. Fantastic. Stayed 2 nights. Amenities old but spotless.

Great little park to stop in if your travelling through. Lyn & Larry will go out of their way to make your stay welcoming and comfortable. Sundays are the best days. Great coffee & conversation are a plenty as townsfolk & travellers congregate to share stories & chat. One of my fav places to go when in Mungindi!!
