For the precious little things that have left 1-star reviews.... All I can say is utter rot. Yes, it can be slow, but that is often down to volume of work and the tedious processes required by Australia Post. Additionally, I have been using this post office for nearly 20 years and I have never seen Kay sitting about on personal calls. Perhaps you might also take time to think about how you approach people.

I live locally so I use this post office for my online business, sending anywhere between 5 to 30 parcels a day.
While there can be a bit a wait- that’s only in the afternoon from around 3-4pm where a lot of other businesses like mine make their drop offs.

And I would also like to address what was said in the 1 star review. The lady in question is Kay who has worked in the post office for many years from 8:30-5:30 everyday except Wednesday and 9-12 on Saturdays. She is an amazing, hardworking person and loved by the community.
That review was a very rude and disrespectful personal attack from someone who obviously doesn’t comprehend the amount of business this post office receives, despite it having only one staff member and very limited space- allowing it to be quite obvious from the line up, the amount of packages that are received everyday.

So to those who are picking up a parcel or checking their P.O. Box, and are either too busy or simply childishly impatient, please pick better times or as I have done before in a rush for the school run, just ask the pharmacy assistant girl for help.

Tamborine Village is a great community, so we need to support each other.

The staff are always friendly, helpful and prompt with their service. For the amount of deliveries they get through there, they have always been faster than a normal big post office.

Absolutely adore Kay, I’m glad they got help for her but seeing her makes my day. She goes above and beyond to help you , and is the absolute sweetest. After a recent poor experience with Oxenford (was my local before we moved), it reminded me how lucky we are to have her.

Kay used to work here and she was the best! Always friendly and helpful. The new lady who works there - her attitude is absolutely horrendous. I’ve never had such a bad experience with Australia Post before. So unhelpful and sarcastic. Absolutely appalled. Only recommend going in if you want to have your day ruined. I would suggest redirecting to another post office. Rude rude rude!

I may have just encountered the rudest person ever, serving at this Post Office. If was the owner I certainly would not want this person working for me.

I run a shoe business and drop off pre-paid labeled box’s regularly and the lady who works there is 60-70 years old and rather incompetent of doing her job. It has happend 4 times now that I have waited 10-20 minutes for her to serve one person and I have other things to get to. She doesn’t take forever because she is busy talking to the customers, she takes forever because she is slow and isn’t capable of running this australia post. She is affecting the relationships I have with my customers as four times now, I have had to leave because I have other things on and she takes 20 minutes per customer. There are three australia posts in Tamborine so I’m not 100% sure if this is the right one. So if this isn’t the one please Ford this on to the australia post that is near the big round about with the shell and get a new person working there as it is heavily affecting my business 🤙🏻

Menetta needs an attitude adjustment. Or your business will go down the drain.
