Got on the phone with Nathan for a tripod consult and received fabulous service. He really took the time to listen to my questions in great detail, gave some solid advice and feedback for what tripod is best suited for me. Excellent variety of cameras in store. We were served by Will, a good knowledge across brands and lenses. Prices on par with other similar stores. Customer service won us over. Very happy with our camera and lens.

Had exactly what I was looking for on short notice when two other stores did not. Had a good range of reasonably priced SD cards also. Store was a good size - roomy and comfortable.

Having said that, I am not sure of I've been inside before.

Ted's is a great place for in-depth sound knowledge of cameras and accessories.
They also keep action cameras from brands such as Go Pro

The guys working here are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Having no idea about photography, they could have sold me stuff I didn't need or upsold me something that I wouldn't need. They just asked questions about what I wanted and found the camera perfect for me (which was one of the more cheaper ones!). Thoroughly recommend these guys

I've been buying from Teds for numerous amount of years and they have helped me a lot when I first started photography.

Staff members are super friendly and willing to help you if you're confused on what to buy (since there's so many camera options in the market).

The store is very spacious and well laid out - super easy to navigate.

Had Canadian passport pictures taken as well as Australian baby passport pictures. Staff were patient and as quick as possible.

I am a photographer and I was extremely impressed by the team at this store. I wanted to upgrade my aging equipment and they spent a lot of time running through the options available to me and explaining the differences in easy to understand language. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about photography and everything I wanted was in stock. I was able to try out the equipment before deciding and they were even happy to negotiate the price. If you are in Adelaide or nearby and need a camera or anything for your camera I recommend you pay them a visit.

I was looking for an action camera with only an idea of what I wanted it to do and a bit of web searching.
Darren, the store manager, took the time to answer all of my questions and offered some of his own expertise to help me decide.
When I eventually did so, he talked me through his range and offered a very good deal on accessories.
Given the steady flow of people going through the store, I’d say that many others have had similar positive experiences to mine.
