What a treat it was, playing The Lost Farm Golf Course at Barnbougle.
There is a reason why everyone talks about the Barnbougle golf courses. It is because they are stunning.
Today was no exception. No wind, blue skies, and along the back 9, the sound of waves breaking on the picturesque white sands of Bridport’s beaches, here in Tasmania.
There was even some good golf played.

How do you start to describe one of the best lunches you have experienced in years.The food was delicious for both myself and my wife.
The view spectacular.
Georgie provided great advice, great service and is a real asset for the establishment.
We will have to come again and try other mouth watering items from the menu

We have just enjoyed the most picturesque location for lunch. The views are beyond the imaginable and the food will satisfy any palate. The children were happy with their massive sized meals! Although we had to take some home!

A wonderful experience at Barnbougle, with world class golf, amazing local wines and the fantastic Tasmanian hospitality.

In a few words, the view, the food, the view. There is a short steep wak up to the restaurant, but the view is stunning. Great efficient service too.

A must visit for breakfast or preferably lunch, fabulous service from the team, one of the best views in Australia, fantastic wine list and delicious food across entre, mains and dessert, you could not be disappointed

We had dinner, party of four, at the Lost Farm restaurant. Our server, Marco, was exceptional! He was so attentive, and two of our party were vegan, so he gave us the vegan menu, and the food that night was just amazing!
Excellent service, excellent quality and the view was just breathtaking too. Thank you for making it such a lovely experience ☺

Two of the best golf courses I have played and the lodge is great value with world class views.

The Lost Farm Restaurant is located within Barnbougle resort - it is just lovely. I stopped in for lunch, and was so impressed we decided to return for dinner. The food was delicious and very well presented. The wine list was also very good. There is a cellar which you can select vintage options should you wish. The staff are very professional & knowledgeable - Ethan was fantastic. The views are sensational overlooking the golf course & ocean. Highly recommend visiting just for the food, though the golf course is great too.

Barnbougle has 2 wonderful Golf courses. Walking courses but those with medical certificates can get motorised cart & caddy at A$120 extra. It should be a Bucket List for all golfers.

You may have read reviews. You may have seen Barnbougle’s golf ratings. Nothing will prepare you for how mind bogglingly superb it actually is. Every single square foot is majestic. Every hole a challenge, but not cruel. To golfers it will always be a magnificent challenge, no matter your handicap. Within these rolling hills and sometimes huge greens, sometimes not, there are chess games within chess games on every very individual one. The only thing that beats looking forward, is looking sideways and back. Be prepared for views you’ve never seen. Be prepared for sunrises and sunsets that demand a photo.
This is a golf course the world is very lucky to have. It’s not an enclave of rich, entitled privilege, it is, possibly, the greatest public golf course on earth.
Yes, there are great pro shops.
Yes there is accommodation (though I haven’t stayed there. Stayed in town, which is 15m away)
Yes there is fine dining and bars to suit every occasion or mood.
More importantly there is the land it is built on. It feels rescued. It feels cared for. It feels like magic happens.
Get ready. It’s THAT good.

Had a good few days of golf it is a golfers dream with so many unique golf holes a great experience for the golfing enthusiast

Beautiful golf course for sure! As long as the wind doesn’t pick up when you are playing, you will have blast!

Need's a lift for those people who find it difficult to walk up the ramp to get to the Restaurant, the Service in the Restaurant was absolutely fantastic very welcoming and nothing was a problem if every Restaurant had staff like yours they would never be without bookings.100% great experience.

Amazing golf course at the top end of Tassie. A must do on the bucket list, tick!

Beautiful golf course with perfect fairways and greens. Went in March and the weather was sunny but very windy.
Golf shop is well stocked with golf outfits and accessories.
Bathrooms and toilets are clean and well equipped.
Friendly approachable staff.

Played here in mid February. Rented clubs and made use of caddies.
Course well laid out and spacious. is in superb condition - well maintained, watered cut etc.
Tee boxes, greens and fairways beautiful - very much a links course.
Customer service was great.
Weather was beautiful for the first nine, but windy on the back nine.

Would like to extend my appreciation to Maria at reception for getting me and my 3 friends a reservation (despite being fully booked) at the restaurant at Lost Farm.
She was able to get an early sitting and we watched the sunset and had the most amazing meal. This was so worth it after a round of golf and topped off a wonderful day! Thank you again for going above and beyond
