Beautiful wines, lovely hospitality and dog friendly. My pup received treats and was given pillows to lie on whilst we enjoyed our wine tasting. They also have an enclosed dog playground where the pups can stretch their legs. Definitely recommend and we will be back!

BEST wine experience we've had so far on our one month wine tour (This was winery #20). We were lucky enough to be hosted by the wine maker herself which made the visit extra special. The warm greeting by both Jo and her beautiful rescue greyhound, Daphne kicked everything off to an amazing start. Then we tried the WINE. Wow! Everything we tasted scored a tick on our notes but some unusual (or not normal favourites) varieties blew us away -The Cab Franc, Merlot and Zinfandel in particular. It was so nice to learn about the history behind each wine and Jo's journey in the wine making business. She really is a master of the craft with ridiculous amounts of knowledge and study behind her.
Huge bonus for me how dog friendly this place is - there's even a fully fenced dog off leash play space!! The wine labels are just fantastic and there is a story behind each one.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR and book a visit here. You won't regret it!! And bring your furkids ;)

We found out about Levrier by Jo Irvine at the Perth Good food and Wine show. We loved their wines so much for their great taste and value.

We managed to visit the Barossa so had to stop in and the experience was fantastic. Very dog friendly so even though we didnt have ours due to travelling, we were glad to see others with their dogs there.

Special acknowledgement to Jules who hosted us. She has exceptional people skills. Jules makes people feel welcome and goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience. She clearly loves what she does. Her service was attentive as well as being knowledgeable about the wines and the area. Thanks Jules for a wonderful experience. We'll be sure to stop by whenever in the Barossa and likely adding to the collection at the next GF&W shows.

Jo was amazing, we had a beautiful wine tasting experience full of history, storytelling and knowledge. I can't say I am a wine connoisseur but the wines were very good. Got 5 bottles so...

Jo makes some very interesting wines, old or rare varieties that very few still make and are different from the current mainstream.

The winery is pet friendly including an enclosure where they can stay and play.

Thank you Jo!

Fantastic!! A must visit if you are a dog lover. My favourite winery in the Barossa so far. There was a large variety of wines on offer for tasting and all were delicious. Beautiful artwork on the bottles as well. Lovely setting and decor inside. Prue was our host and she was fantastic, super friendly and I loved hearing the stories about the winery/Jo/ and the inspiration behind artwork on the bottles. The place is 100% dog friendly and you can bring your dog into the indoor area where the tastings are done (gate at entrance is kept closed). There is also a fenced off grass area outside for dogs. Thank you Prue for your hospitality, we had a fantastic time and will be back again for sure.

Peter and Jo, you made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. Such a lovely pair of individuals and the wines speak for themselves.. top shelf. We thank you for the wonderful memories from our special night, and we look forward to all the future memories we’re yet to create accompanied by your wonderful wines. Best wishes, Filip and Bella

What a wonderful experience. If you have a dog with you on your visit to Barossa, then do yourself a favour and make this winery a must stop on your tour. Pru could not be more accommodating, friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. They even have an enclosed dog area, so your little mate can have a good run free and off lead, you can even take your pooch inside the winery…. Oh yeah! the wine is really good also, our personal favourite being the Zinfandel.

We came because of the dog friendly recommendation, so we were really pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the wines were! Our host, Pru, was fantastic - super friendly and relaxed with a wealth of knowledge. Our pup got to play with another visiting dog, as well as the resident greyhound, Daphne. One of our favourite cellar doors. Everything about our visit was wonderful.

Prue who hosted us was really friendly, knowledgeable, and playful with my doggo. It was a wet day, so we were very grateful that doggo was allowed to come inside, and enjoy the warmth from the heating! There was also an outdoors enclosed yard for dogs to run around in, and they did stretch their legs when the rain briefly stopped.

Delicious wine, and must get their cider (although wasn't available for tasting). I really enjoyed the tasting, the friendliness and other patrons.

Will definitely be back for more cider!

Loved our experience here! Pru was a delight, super friendly and explained each wine with a story to tell. Went home with a Meslier to enjoy in this heat wave! The pup also had fun in their huge pet enclosure while we sat back and enjoyed our wine 🍷 definitely recommend!

Met Jo in Women in Wine, tried her fabulous wines and decided to go to the winery. Erica our host was great and very informative, there was not a single wine, we didn’t like. Naturally, we bought more than we needed. Great setting as pooches are allowed and lovely roses.
Will definitely re visit when in the area. Tasting was by appointment which was great as we could plan our day. Will definitely recommend to try the Chardonnay for people like me who are abc and don’t like it. And if you like bubbles and rose then you are in for a treat.
Having said that, We liked all including her award winning reds.

We came to Levrier as the first stop on a wine tour and I can say without a doubt this was the best wine tasting experience I have ever had. Erica was an incredible host both with her explanations and knowledge of the wines and her sparkling personality. I will be recommending Levrier to anyone coming to the Barossa, it’s a must see! Thank you again for a memorable and genuinely wonderful experience.

One of the best wine tasting experiences we've ever done and the cellar door isn't even completely finished yet! The wines were all absolutely fantastic, and Jo's passion for wine making and greyhounds is very clearly showcased in every aspect of the entire experience.
If you have a dog who would love to go wine tasting with you, this is a cellar door you absolutely cannot miss. The wine is beautiful and delicious, the label artwork is exquisite, the resident wine greyhound Daphne is a total sweetie, and Jo and partner are the perfect hosts and will regale you with entertaining anecdotes and give you some insight into the wonderful world of wine and greyhounds. I cannot recommend Levrier highly enough.
