Goldfield Glamping

What an absolutely beautiful stay!
Daz, the owner, was so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make up feel comfortable and show us how to use the indoor fire.
The tent was gorgeous and the bed so comfy and we stayed so warm! Whatever that quilt was I need to invest in one asap for winter!
Such beautiful scenery and amazing location!
Would recommend to anyone who wants a romantic weekend or just a quiet getaway with friends. I felt so relaxed being so immersed in nature. Honestly 10/10! Cannot wait to go back and stay longer this time :)

We met Daz our host who met us and explained to us all we needed to know. Everything was ready for us. We enjoyed our stay in the Rose Tent. The large bed was very comfortable. The room delightful. The property so serene and calm, lots to explore & just take time out. Enjoyed a fire at night and the marshmallows were delicious.The private bathroom was beautifully presented with lots of hot water and great shower pressure. You basically just need to being yourself and some warm clothes for at night. You can order boxes of breakfast or cheese board. However as we don't eat breakfast we brought along our own food / snacks to have by the fire. Would certainly go again, it is a little out of the way but that really added to it's charm.

My partner and I came to Goldfield Glamping over New Years and had such an amazing time! Daz was extremely hospitable and really lovely. The tent was comfortable with ample space and ammenities. It was such a peaceful and beautiful area and the perfect way to start 2024. We particularly enjoyed waking up to Kangaroos and a beautiful sunset as well as searching to see a glimpse of the platypus in the lake!! Looking forward to coming back again.

We had a great experience at Goldfield Glamping! Tent was spacious and the large bed was super comfy. Daz was lovely - helped us start a wonderful campfire. There is also a cosy fire inside the tent as can get cold at night. They also catered for our dietary needs and cooked us a delicious vegetarian breakfast box in the morning which had more than enough food for two people. Bathroom is clean and very decent. Lots of little luxuries including hot water bottles, marshmallows for toasting, tea & coffee and cutlery. We were lucky enough to see the stars at night. Would definitely visit again! We recently used a riparide voucher to stay at Goldfields Glamping and had a lovely long weekend. From the moment we arrived, the hosts Daz and Gem went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and memorable.

The glamping site is well maintained with beautiful country views and close proximity to Daylesford and Castlemaine for dinner or an explore. It provided the perfect blend of tranquility and adventure. The Glamping tent was very cosy in the drizzly weekend weather and was well equipped for having a bbq and camp fire with marshmallows.

The hosts Daz and Gem were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making sure that we had everything needed throughout our stay. I recommend ordering a cheese platter and breakfast box during your stay!

The cozy atmosphere of the glamping site, combined with the exceptional hospitality, made for an excellent stay!

Amazing place to stay.. very comfortable bed, great en-suite, super chilled vibe & the stunning stream that is heaven to swim in.. Daz is a great host… highly recommend to all who need a bit of
quiet time and pampering at the same time

Daz was such an accommodating host, it is definitely the highlight of the year! We appreciated everything that he did to make our stay amazing. All the little details like leaving us with some marshmallows, the hot water bottles and the homemade Malbec all contributed to a fantastic trip. He made the stay so enjoyable and easy! The tent in itself was cosy and spacious, and we loved exploring the nature. Couldn’t recommend this stay enough!

We had a wonderful one night stay here. Daz the owner is super welcoming and friendly, also gave us recommendations on places to go around Daylesford. The brekkie box was HEAVENLY and so filling. The sheep were a cute addition & campfire during the night is very quiet and cozy. I could see that the place was taken care of with love and care. A perfect weekend getaway for couples and friends.

This was our first time glamping, and it was brilliant!

We got to feed some sheep, go on beautiful walks and spend some time disconnected from our devices.

We were worried about the cold, but with the fire pit outside the tent, the woodfire inside the tent and the warm bedding, we didn’t feel the cold at all.

Daz was a great host. Setting up our fires for us and giving us some great suggestions for food and walks. He even got my wife a birthday cake and left us some marshmallows to roast on the fire.

I highly recommend visiting Goldfield Glamping. You won’t be disappointed!

My partner and I absolutely loved our night away at Goldfield! We were warmly welcomed and looked after by Daz. The bed was super comfy and the doona was thick and warm. The private bathroom was such a luxury- plenty of hot water there! We liked having our own little fire pit and enjoyed the pre-ordered cheese box and the Continental brekkie box the next morning. It was such a treat to enjoy our warm flaky pastries and watch some kangaroos bounding past. The sheep were also very friendly and came running for lots of pats. We highly recommend staying here.

So welcoming and accommodating, even when my Husband contacted them a couple of days before our stay to arrange to leave a gift in our tent to surprise me on arrival for our anniversary.
Location beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of land to walk and enjoy and a beautiful creek a short walk from your tent to sit and enjoy.
They have thought of everything and you literally only need to bring your clothes.
The breakfast pack and hot coffee delivered to your tent each morning was amazing.
Bathroom clean and a beautiful addition to the stay.
Fire pit and the best tasting marshmallows was a welcome addition Saturday evening.
The bed and bedding rivalled any fancy motel and felt like you were sleeping on a cloud.
We'll definitely be back.

I just had my first glamping experience and loved it! The Goldfields Glamping setup is brilliant with a spacious and comfortable tent on a beautiful properly. Gemma and Darren took care of everything, and the breakfast we ordered was particularly amazing. Will be back!

Fantastic stay here in amongst nature and beautiful scenery. We had a chilly night but we were still nice are warm! Continental breakfast was gobsmackingly good! Previous stays at hotels have tarnished the “Continental” word for us before with a lacklustre menu, but these guys gave the word a whole new meaning with a great range of out of the ordinary, quality food and coffee. We will be recommending and staying again!

Wow what a place!!! Amazing property with wildlife, wildflowers, even a creek! Our tent was perfect - probably the best mattress and linen I've slept in! Even though it is almost winter, we were warm and cozy in the tent and really enjoyed the firepit with marshmallows provided.
The hosts were very welcoming and friendly but not over the top ie we had our privacy. Loved the bathroom - even a hairdryer which amazed me as it is all off grid. Definitely recommend as a place to relax and recharge.

The view and arrangements inside the tent was fab!
The private washroom was cherry on the top . Owners are so kind hearted, gentle and helping ... we ran out of bread (yeah didn’t expected will eat more than a loaf lol) and ended up asked the owners the nearby safeway which ended up quite a few mins drive from the camp site and they in return offered us to take some from them to avoid the travel time. We were so pleased by this gesture and the whole vibe :) We were relaxed throughout our stay and definitely going to recommend our friends and family !!

My tent was furnished with several antiques pieces which was totally unexpected but I loved. My bed was like sleeping on a cloud. I loved sitting by the water with a glass of wine at the end of the day. So very relaxing.
