Great elevated spot to see the farmland and river scenery as Mitchell River flows out to Jones Bay.
The cliff face was fenced off for safety as the sandstone ground are higly unstable.
However, someone has cut an opening in the fence to get close to the cliff edge for their Instagram selfie.

Our local foreshore. New jetty in April 2022. New public space development happening soon. Good spot for a sunrise photo. Does get affected by Algal blooms at times. Coffee van on the weekends!

Several walking tracks and plenty of waterfront access. There are public toilets and showers, plenty of picnic tables and benches around and there is a large shelter with tables beside the playground.

There is a delightful walking track along the lakefront. I'm not into fishing but it looks like it would be a good spot to throw in a line. Two caravan parks adjacent and close to beautiful Paynesville.
