Oh! What do I say about this place? Beyond words - reminded me of my mom’s homemade food back India. I am celiac and this place did not fail to bless my soul. Had gluten free scones for the first time in life and they were simply out of the world! This place has a soul and the beautiful couple (owners) is a real bliss with lovely aura. Thank you for sharing your stories from India trip and putting soul into everything you do. I live in Adelaide and shall surely visit soon 😊

Perhaps the best place to enjoy a lunch between Melbourne and Ballarat. Hidden spot inside an old workshop with farm animals and lots of memorabilia covering the outdoor garden and indoor seating area. All food is homemade.

Stopped in on our way to Geelong.
Greeted by pleasant staff who were very knowledgeable and gave me extra balsamic glaze for my brushetta because I mentioned it was the best part while ordering.
Their wine and jelly slice were absolutely scrumptious. Such a cool old style cafe with a wood heater. Definitely worth a look. You will not be disappointed.

This is an excellent country cafe. Absolutely adore the interior fitout, it’s quirky, yet country chic and has nice nooks to sit in. The food was excellent and very well priced. Filling and delicious true to its country roots. And all the staff are just lovely. Don’t change a thing you are perfect! Bonus points for being open until 5pm for that very late lunch we often need on a weekend!

Partner and I took the kids here. We were greeted immediately as we walked with a friendly face and made to feel welcomed. The lovely gentleman was great with the kids and even gave them some bread to help feed the chickens. The food was delicious, especially loved the garlic mushrooms and the banana smoothie. Will definitely recommend stopping by!

What a fabulous cafe and the gentleman owner was a treat. The home style food was absolutely delicious and we all loved the freshly baked desserts too. My little nephew was given a chook egg, which he was keen to smash down! We will be back. Thank you.

What a gem! Beautiful hiding little spot. Everything is homemade from the slices, cakes to the meals .. fantastic. Rustic set up as works and we enjoyed it! Small and functional menu, I had the Chicken curry hot pot! It was amazing. Thanks again.

The old workshop is awesome. Went there with my partner and daughter. The owner let bob encouraged our daughter to pick carrot and then went to the chook house to grab a fresh egg. Plenty of toys and bikes to play with. Coffee was great and food was delicious!!! Highly recommend a stop by when in town!!

Set back from the road with a beautiful veggie garden, chickens and incredibly friendly staff. Our kids were offered the chance to collect a fresh egg to take home and pull up a carrot from the garden. The coffee was great and the food looked fantastic too. A perfect place to stop!

Finally dropped in after passing this place by many a time. Pleasantly surprised to find a perfect cafe stop for lunch amidst the eclectic and industrial setting. Great variety of home made food items, staff were lovely - welcoming and happy to help. Lots of interesting things to look at including whimsical vegetable garden, chicken coop with eggs and a selection of local preserves to buy. Very relaxing to sit and take it all in. Will be sure to be back!
