City on a Hill: Surf Coast

I have been part of City On A Hill for 5 years now. First in the West and now on the Surf Coast. It’s definitely a church full of love, support and strong teaching of the Bible. One of the many things I love about COAH is the generational and background diversity. A strong church always needs the wisdom of the elders with energy of the youth. And even better mixed with a lot of different cultures from all over the world. You don’t feel out of place or not welcome in this church. I love doing life with my heavenly family at COAH.

Church family plays a significant role in my life, both in a relational sense and a spiritual sense. And that’s what City on a Hill Surf Coast is to me: family. People of all ages and life stages, from varied backgrounds and with different life experiences, spending time getting to know each other better, walking alongside each other through life’s ups and downs, and doing all of this with one common focus: Jesus. This is a community of imperfect people who seek to know Jesus more deeply, and to help others do the same. I am very thankful for this community, this family, and certainly encourage anyone thinking about connecting in to do so!

A great church that teaches the bible and points you to Jesus; not only on a Sunday but throughout the week as well; emphasising community and making Jesus known. City on a Hill Surf Coast values the importance of teaching our kids all about Jesus with a City Kids program which is tailored to the ages of the children attending.
It has been such a blessing to be able to meet together (in a carpark!) to worship God and dig deeper in His word as a church family.

So glad to find a church on the Surf Coast that has a strong word-based focus, where members strive to know Jesus and to make Jesus known. Services are engaging, worship is phenomenal, and church members are friendly and inviting. I've been enjoying digital broadcasts during COVID19, but can't wait to get together again once restrictions allow for services to commence!

A great place to worship God and spiritually grow with the church. The Pastor and team are very hard working and dedicated towards church. The songs and sermons gives me goosebumps and make me feel more attached to God. The church members are friendly and never make you feel alone.

Such a welcoming church. The teaching, the music, study groups, run/walk groups, book club, kids church and other ministries offer something for all. Providing an awesome online church while covid restrictions are in place, can't wait to meet back again when we can. A church where everyone is welcome, come and check it out.
