Ironbark Gorge Track Carpark

The car park is very small, probably 10 cars can be parked. The walk is very refreshing and gives a bit of adventurous feeling. The falcons lookout is amazing. It will take 2hrs to complete the walk.

Do not go anywhere else just drive into the carpark and be in awe of the scenery of trees and a dirt road.
I'm surprised that it's not on the travel guides for Australia. Would definitely go again.

Parking spot for Falcons Lookout. No toilets or water on track.

Nice new signage (May 2021)but only at the car park. On the trail you have to follow the worn bits. The trail walk to Falcon’s Lookout is fun, through a creek bed, very rocky, lots of uphill bits. It takes at least 30mins when you’re carrying climbing gear. Recommend shoes with grip like trail running shoes. Regular trainers will be ok but more likely to slip on the mild rocky bits you have to climb. Follow the right path- somehow we ended up high on the side of the creek which was difficult carrying gear.

Falcons Lookout was pretty great.
The Granites was alright, the trail was a bit boring. Signage not really clear, just follow the fence then you'll be fine.

2hr trail with one lookout. Expect more water in the creek even in winter. Level 3 trail with long hill & descend.
