Really enjoyed the hike to this lookout point. Took us about an hour to get there from the Darby River parking lot. The first 20 minutes are all up hill and not so much fun. Once you get near the crest and you feel the cool sea breeze get ready for some awesome views. The trail is in pretty good shape but you have to pay attention in a couple of spots and I wouldn't want to do it in flip flops. Had a great lunch at tongue point and were harassed by a seagull and his bigger mate. Saw maybe 10 people on the trail on a Friday in November. Recommended.

The walk to the Tongue Point was refreshing. We took 3 hours to return back to the Darby River car park. We stopped at several spots for views and sat down at the last point, listening to the waves crashing at rocks. It's an easy walk for my husband. I would say medium since I struggled a bit at the beginning. Worth the effort!

Such a lovely walk along the coastline. Not very steep but path goes up and down and there are rocks on the pathway so wear proper walking shoes. Took us about 3 hours round trip. Toilet available at Darby carpark.

Excellent walk really worse an effort. Takes about 90 minutes to 2 hours return, depends on your fitness and stops you might take. Starts with a steep climb from Darby River Carpark, but after that track becomes substantially easier, still few uphills but not as tough as first one. Views are spectacular and IMHO it's really great walk.

Way harder than expected. It was fine for some of us because we did plenty of endurance training but if it is your first time, beware of the terrain and sudden changes in the terrain, not consistent. But the view is so refreshing and amazing. 10/10

The views along the track are absolutely amazing. The hiking was a bit of a challenge for me as I don't hike much at all. But if you do stops along the way, you'll get there! It's 4km there and 4km back so give yourself at least 3 hours to complete.
The first part of the hike from the car park was quite steep uphill and I was thinking "if the whole track is like this, I won't be able to do it" but after the first steep climb, it definitely is not steep.

Great 90 min walk enjoying more and more gorgeous scenes along the way. Even better if dipping yourself to the water in Fairy Cove on the way back. One of the best experience!

The first 300m is very hardcore, but after that is just unbelievably amazing. Flat hiking and the view is spetacular. Really worthwhile trail. I will do it again for sure.

Great walk with marvellous views of the Wilsons Promontory coast, across Waratah Bay and offshore islands. Well formed track that is easy to follow. There is a short steep climb up from the Darby River carpark. Take water, some energy snacks and bathers for a swim at Fairy Cove, a short detour of the track.

Another great walk in Wilsons Promontory. It is a good walk to do for something different from the main walks like Sealers Cove and Mint Oberon. It offers landscapes unlike those in the south. It was supposed to take 4 hours return from Darby River car park but we did it in 3 hours with kids. We also went via Fairy Cove on the way.
