Phenomenal views at this national park. A few trails. We did the Grand Canyon and the pinnacle. The Grand Canyon stairs were closed while we were there so we had to go around to continue to the pinnacle but I imagine when it’s open you can go through. There was also a point on the pinnacle walk where you can go a way that is 0.7km or 2.2km, both end up at the same spot. The 0.7km was more difficult and steep but beautiful. Just before you reach the pinnacle there is a beautiful canyon where you walk up some stairs. The stairs are steep and a little narrow. The 2.2km way is also beautiful. Some steepness but much flatter then the 0.7km. I would recommend, if you feel you can, doing the 0.7km to the pinnacle and then take the 2.2km back to get the best of both worlds.

We loved our time at the Grampians! Explore captivating parks, rugged mountains, and abundant wildlife. Immerse yourself in Grampians National Park, climbing sandstone ridges, exploring native forests, and discovering ancient Aboriginal rock art. Breathtaking views and wildflowers make it a mesmerizing nature expedition.

Beautiful walk with stunning views. Was very hot leaving at 8.30am, suggest leaving earlier and take plenty water and snacks.

A wonderful mountain national park in western Victoria, with countless waterfalls, lookouts and walks of various lengths. You'd need several weeks to see and do everything.

Some nice distant views of the ranges can be seen from Penshurst-Dunkeld Road, Northern Grampians Road and Ararat-Halls Gap Road.

Halls Gap is only town actually within the Grampians (although outside the national park). It offers plenty of accomodation and places to eat, but there are only a few shops, so it may be better to stock up elsewhere before arriving, if you're planning to stay a while.

We visited Melbourne and the trip from there to the Grampians was really wonderful. Definitely worth a day trip to see.

Always a great day out for a scenic drive or walk, beautiful scenery, great photo opportunities where ever you go in the park, especially the waterfalls & lookouts.
Always grab an ice cream in halls gap, yum, great staff there to.
Plenty of wildlife to stop & watch, or listen to through out the park.
You never get tired of visiting the Grampians. Great place for weddings

It's great to bring plenty of water and snacks too. I arrived late and didn't have enough to explore it entirely. It was best to get here earlier, but I loved the views. Spotted kangaroos, deer, and birds along the way.

What a spectacular view, went up to pinnacle lookout and it truly was breath taking. When you’re up at the highest point over looking below you get that fluttering moment in your gut. Took about an hour to get up there with a 3 year old, pretty easy to navigate and climb just bring some water

Gariwerd is one of the most magical, beautiful and inspiring places in Australia. So many beautiful day walks, to look-outs, waterfalls and ancient caves. The rock itself is stunning, as well as the wildlife, and the food in the local towns is great.
Recommend multi-day hikes or hiring a guide to go climbing or abseiling.

Highly recommended! I went there from Melbourne as day trip with GoWest. Their tour route and guide is really fun and consistent. The cost around $120 worth it!
There were a lot of wild life you can see and nature.

What an amazing place in Victoria! Lived in Melbourne for 9 years and this was our first visit. These are photos of the Pinnacle hike. 4.2 km. An easy walk if you are fit, I am not, therefore it was a struggle going up. But so glad I did it!

I hiked from Roses Gap Rd to Halls Gap. The tracks are pretty well maintained. The facilities at the designated camp site are the best I've seen anywhere. The views and environment are great.

Needs four days minimum. Lots of great spots for photos. Some places are disabled access, need to check websites. The Info Centre in Halls Gap is a great resource with excellent disability access and facilities.
