Bearded Dragon Hotel Tamborine

We didn’t stay here - just went for lunch on a Saturday . It was very very busy and we were a little worried but it is such a great atmosphere that the long wait for lunch was actually not a problem at all. Plenty for the kids to do so even they did not complain. The saturday entertainment - Nathan Kane was exceptional !! This man is talented with a capital T!
All in all a wonderful day.

Came here for lunch. Was super happy with the Pulled Porky Burger and Chips. Chips where those tasty super crispy chips that are soft in the middle. My partner had the Southern Fried Chicken burger with chips. He was super happy with his burger, but was disappointed as it wasn’t a real chicken instead of a breast. Service was great and timely.

Went for a last minute family dinner and it will certainly not be the last visit! Service was fantastic, atmosphere was great, a solo artist playing some laid back tunes, the kids danced away in between visits to the playground. The food was absolutely fantastic, 9 adults and 5 kids, not one complaint!! Looking forward to visiting this little gem again!

Country breakfast an absolute treat! Lovely picnic set up on the grounds with an excellent cooked breakfast. Plus feeding and petting donkeys Tilly, Clancy and Mabel a fun little addition. Scenery and service top notch. Highly recommend.

My favourite country restaurant of all times here in Oz, very lovely meals, and happy and friendly staff. And on top the events organisers are absolutely phenomenal. They helped me with my problem very quickly, as I have lost my entry tickets to the wonderfully organised Robbie Williams Tribute show, where we absolutely enjoyed ourselves last Sunday afternoon by listening and dancing to Robbie Williams tunes ... keep an eye out for upcoming events. They are family friendly and just a lot of fun!! Thank you!!

Amazing hotel. We booked some tables for my son's birthday. They accommodated us so well. Food was tasty and quite affordable. It was raining so couldn't explore the outside area but it looked bful. Will be back again soon! Highly recommend!

Alexa was my server, she had a great personality and made me feel warm and welcomed. She even came out from behind the bar later on and checked on how my meal was and wished us a happy afternoon. Awesome to see that it isn’t your typical pub with dingy pokies out the back and that is very family friendly.

My partner and I stayed overnight for Valentines Day. We were not sure what we were coming to but the staff were great, especially Candice who couldn't have been more helpful. The room was spotless, food was amazingly good, the musicians were perfect for the occasion - there is nothing to fault. Yes, outside needs some work (that takes time and money) but coming from a hospitality background and being aware of all it takes to get it right - we were very impressed. Nearly forgot - the price was right and we will return. Well done Bearded Dragon (and Candice)!

Today my daughters and I were lucky enough to have a picnic breakfast and visit the miniture donkeys at the Bearded Dragon. The morning was perfect and we were very looked after by Candice who made our experience an exceptional one. Thank you for having us and making it so special.

We just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff at The Bearded Dragon. You were all amazing, very welcoming and friendly. We booked in for 2 nights for somewhere to have a good nights sleep, a warm shower and to eat a proper meal. You provided every thing we needed, a homely space to recharge. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was great too, thank you again.

I visited this Hotel on Sunday Lunch with my Car Club … I was privileged with a very enjoyable experience overall.
The facility although dated, was perfect for our group, coupled with outstanding service in my view and delicious, well presented food, the menu was both varied with the opportunity to build your own platter with the many options available on the menu, which is just perfect for a person like me who is very fussy with allergies.
I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants a pleasant surprise in a rural setting.
I would also personally like to thank and appreciate the staff for outstanding service given to our group and specifically to the three young ladies whom attended our table Grace, Freya and Alexa, three very welcoming and caring ladies, both efficient and very professional, again thank you.

Hubby and I just had the most delicious lunch ever at this beautiful, picturesque hotel. The service was impeccable A1. And, the food we had pork ribs, crispy macadamia stuffed chicken, pavlova (to die for) , sticky date dessert and coffee and drinks. Will definitely be back and very happy to recommend. 🙏❤💐

We recently moved to the area and have been here to eat three times now. The staff have always been super friendly and welcoming and the food has been really good.

Surprises me that the pub can be quiet at times. But I think if they maybe thought to put on a courtesy bus at weekends it may encourage more locals to come in to drink and eat for longer. The pub itself and surrounding area is beautiful such a great location.

Awesome location, great ambience, as soon as we walked in Candice met us with a big smile and ensured we felt welcomed. Told us about the restaurant, upcoming live music on the weekends, great service. We will definitely return ! Xxx

Great food, great location with a great view. Overall it has been a great place for our lunch. As for the room, I have no comment as we didn't stay there
Ps: This might be too much ask but if they could consider some EV charging station whilst having your meal will just be outstanding 👌

Staff were nothing but lovely to us, we arrived a little early and were more than accommodating. The rooms were cute and had everything we needed. Lunch was amazing, would absolutely recommend to friends!

Had the best experience, attended a conference here recently and we were all blown away by the venue. We went to markets tonight and omg what an experience! So many amazing stalls, great food and entertainment. Wait times were expected and honestly got our food at a reasonable time considering the thousands of people there. And worth the wait, best meals we've had in a long time. Recommend to everyone if you can stop in

I had an amazing time last weekend. The accommodation was lovely, impeccably clean, with outstanding service and delicious food. I'm eager to return! Highly recommended!

Delightful atmosphere and fantastic staff, the night markets were an absolute treat to attend. Didn’t mind waiting a little bit for food (50 minutes in a venue catering for a few thousand people isn’t bad at all) as the live music was entertaining and the general vibe was excellent. Market stalls were great, I had many conversations with the lovely stall holders. Will be coming back soon to see what it’s like during the week!

Fantastic food and service have a wide range of beers on tap. But make sure you book as it gets very busy on weekends.
