Visited No.5 Beach during Grand Final Weekend.

Beautiful beach with less people than No.1 but has less amenities.

Fantastic beach for a long walk. Open skies, water and sand. Gorgeous.

We were there just before a storm, so some great pics, but too cold to swim. Fantastic sand dunes and a nice long beach for a good walk or run. Dogs allowed at certain times- check before you go. Not a patrolled beach for swimming so be cautious-this is a surf beach with rips and strong currents. Toilet block at the car park.

One of the most popular spots at Venus Bay, beach number 5 has more easy decent, and a few ammenities. Like all the wide beaches along the strip the sand is clean and soft, and the water clear and beautiful. You can see for miles from here, and it’s a relaxing walk to the point if you have some time on your hands.

Very scenic beach. It's very secluded than other beaches in Melbourne. If you've been in Melbourne for some time and want to go on a drive and try some new beach, then this is the place to go to.

One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to and would always go here when in the area. Nice and quite, very good views! Public toilet at parking not too great, but at least there is one! Note: Beach it self is a fair bit down from the parking, there is only stairs, no ramp :)

Amazing place! Just before sunset, the mist makes an amazing scenario with the greenery. Must visit, a treat to the eyes

Beautiful unspoilt and very quiet for Easter weekend. Dogs were allowed but must be on leash. However most didn't abide by this rule and it was fine because there was plenty of space for everyone

Beach 5 > Beach 1; though in summer good luck finding a car park as it gets pretty packed.

Amazing beach. Venus bay has the feel of a very underdeveloped peninsula. I would love to spend more time here.

About Venus Bay
Township in Australia

Venus Bay is a wide bay and a township on that bay on the east coast of Victoria, Australia. At the 2016 census Venus Bay had a population of 944. The name Venus Bay was given to the bay by a French expedition under Nicholas Baudin. This was apparently after George Bass's trading ship the Venus. The town of Venus Bay is situated on a narrow peninsula of land located 180 km south-east of Melbourne. Originally named Evergreen the town takes its name from the body of water on its western shore. On the eastern side of the peninsula is Anderson's Inlet, named after the settler Samuel Anderson. source
