Strathbogie General Store

Best vegan burger I've eaten. All of us loved the food, old fashioned service, and the local Strathbogie beer on tap (Andrew turned the taps on just for us!)
Highly recommend for coffee, food, general items, good variety of wines and local beer.

Such a great place to spend time eating, having a coffee, grabbing some great local wine, or simply enjoying the company of the owners, staff and ever friendly locals. A real jewel in the Victorian rural landscape.

Great lunch, local produce, atmosphere, hospitality and more. An experience not to be missed. On a cold day and driving rain the wood fire heater was a bonus. Keep up the good work team Strathbogie General. We will definitely be back.

This great little store has lovely new owners as of December and a marked improvement in service and produce. The cafe does delicious food and coffee and sweets as well as an ever growing stock of local products from wines and beer to fruit and olive oil and honey. Something for everyone ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a serious country general store. I was there on a friday night and the atmosphere was amazing. Great locally sourced beer, wines and baked goods. Andrew has done a great job brining this place back to life.

Great little family run store with delicious treats & local produce. Friendly staff up for a chat with lots to share about the region & yummy meals on the weekend. We love stopping by - Sharna, Al, Eli (blueberry monster) & Micah

We were ushered through the door by Tinker bell.
A lovely lady served us an excellent cup of coffee.
It was obvious the sign outside of 'the best coffee in town' was not joke, as even if there were 5 other cafes they would have stuggled to improve on the long black and flat white we were served.
We'll be back.

Great pea and ham soup and bread sticks for lunch. Shopped the extensive local wine selection. A very small dog is in store and it’s his(?) territory! The dog didn’t bother me but it’s not a place to bring your dog into. Friendly service. A good local stopping place.

This store is real gem with excellent food and coffee. It has recently changed management and staff are very welcoming. A great spot for brunch or lunch as confirmed by all the regulars.

Great place to call in to for a cuppa or cold drink while exploring the Strathbogie Ranges. Fantastic selection of local wines. Cooked breakfasts and yummy burgers available on the weekends!
