Submarine Lookout

Visited this spot as cyclone Gabrielle was passing by. Wild sea, with white horses blowing backwards in the wind. Dog and I managed to get splashed by sea spray. Afterwards popped up to Elliot River mouth for coffee and cook chip muffin. Great morning.

I spent hours here trying to see a Submarine but not a single one 😂 seriously though it’s a beautiful place with some impressive history

I attended a beautiful sunrise Easter Sunday service at this location. It was absolutely stunning, beautiful foreshore maintained by the local council. It is a beautiful, relaxing place to visit.

Great look out. Usually never busy. I fish off rocks at the front. Good on a small line...mostly undersized dart, moses perch and bream but better than nothing. Watch small children around face of rocks.

It was windy, it's always windy. We went for photos with the family, it was nice. I remember clambering over the rocks when I was a kid. There are several chairs and tables, so it is a excellent place to have a picnic

Such a beautiful piece of coastline. Great walking track which is very dog friendly. Wonderful scenery and other users friendly and welcoming.

This is one of the best small ANZAC services to attend.

What a beautiful place to picnic or jist to take in the view. Its also a great spot to see the amazing whales on their journey up and down the coast
