Captains Flat Cemetery

Great little bush cemetery. The track in is a bit rough so a low clearance car might not make it. You can park near the road and it’s a nice short walk in though. There are graves scattered around in the grassland and bush, so you’ll need to go looking. It can be a bit snakey, especially in summer, so long pants, boots, and gaiters are recommended.
There are tonnes of nice native wildflowers in the cemetery, including Fringed Lillies and Onion Orchids. There is also a resident wallaby that lurks in the Hakeas (the low shrubs in the centre of the cemetery), so don’t be surprised if it bursts out when you get close.
