Great place to go, to get away from it all.

Spent 2 nights here with the family - including 2 kids.

If you can manage some time away from gadgets (there is no electricity), then this place would be great.

The cabins are well managed and full of the necessary utensils.
Gas powered lights, stove and fridge.

We went for a walk up the mountain along the train. While the cicadas were incredibly loud, the serene surrounds were a nice sight to see.

The owners Jim and Fran were fantastic and welcoming.
We got to explore their beautiful garden and visit the vegetable patch. Jim gave us a few samples of his hard work and they tasted delicious. Even the kids got into it - to my surprise.

Their daughter Fiona was equally friendly and lovely to chat to. She offered to introduce my daughters to their horses - Key(?) and Tucker at some point.
I took her up on her offer and she spent a nice amount of time chatting to us and introducing my kids to the horses. I couldn't pull my daughters away without fuss but nonetheless they enjoyed it.

Jim was going to take my partner and I spotting one night for Sugar Gliders but I had a little too much to drink and didn't take him up on that offer.
I'll have to save it for next time ;)

Friendly and helpful hosts, beautiful location and serene surroundings. Will be back! Note that there isn't electricity (gas powered lighting) and limited reception (Telstra only) so worth being prepared - but this is all part of the experience and a good way to 'switch off'.

Well maintained comfortable cabins surrounded by the beauty of nature. Sitting by the fire at night was so peaceful. Would definatey go back again.

Yet again a wonderfully relaxing time with 2 of the best host and hostesses we have ever experienced. Wonderful nature everywhere.
