We stayed here during the Tingha bushfires as we were called to leave our home there. At The Guyra Show grounds the fire disaster recovery team members took care of us and many others who were affected by the bushfires which they provided for all a place to stay and meals to have. We were very thankful for the team to support us during that distressing time due to the bushfires.

Lovely shady area for caravan and camping toilets no lights at night. Showers nice and Hot. Walking distance from main shopping area swimming pool next door

A great area for enjoying all the different aspects of a country show. There is a big open area for horse events, stables and cattle areas as well as a pavilion and grand stands.

A great community asset that houses the Guyra Community Hall.
It is located just off the New England Highway in central Guyra. Next door is the heated Guyra swimming pool.
The showground hosts the annual Guyra show in February and is a great community event. This year 2019 they lost their favourite son in Patron Frank Presnell.
The grounds also has a new Cattle Pavilion.
There is also stables along with sheep housing, a bird pavilion and a shearing shed.
A lovely shad tree lined main ring is a real asset.
The cattle complex is completed and new toilet shower block will be operational by Spring 2023.
The 2022 show was a great even with grounds in excellent condition.
The grounds are used by many groups and the success lies in The Trust (CLM) being the Trust

Great large fenced oval in Showground. When no events on, your dogs can have a run in this area. Easy access. Good yards around for events.

Nice grounds. Sometimes has loose dogs on it though so can be a worry if you're a small dog owner.

Guyra is a town situated midway between Armidale and Glen Innes on the Northern Tablelands in the New England region of New South Wales, Australia. It is within Armidale Regional Council and at the 2021 census, it had a population of 2,077. The New England Highway is the main transport link to Guyra. The Northern Railway tracks still pass through the town, but the line is now disused north of Armidale. source
